Was dear pancake banned as well? Sounds like his gambit.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

LOL this is like a huge scam. We won't get our shares back, or this Crypto-Trade will get "hacked" and "all information will be lost" and we won't get anything back.

If we get our shares back, im selling them asap.

that is why all the low limit orders have piled up on crypto-trade, people want your cheap shares that you have to sell because you haven't made rent in a few months

I posted this the other day, however with all the white noise on here it glossed over.

Does anyone have any comments or opinions on this?
The dates seem to fit quite nicely with our speculated timeline.

It's shot up from ~9Th/s on the 24Dec13 to ~162 Th/s as of today.

Sorry for going out on a limb here and probably being over-optimistic but....

Is there anyway that this could be ActiveMining testing equipment?
http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX

Or on the flip side

Is there any definitive proof that it is impossible for this to be an ActM farm?
(And no, I don't want to hear that it can't be ActM because it's a scam etc...)

Tis a psychologist dream thread, this.

You got crumbs, the absolute pro trollster who takes pushing susceptible peoples buttons, to new levels, but who's new found skill has become an unhealthy obsessive trait.
You got VE, the master Schrodinger troll flipper, where you cant always tell if he is in troll mode or not.
And you have the delusional and self-righteous trolls who dont actually realise or are aware they are trolls, in the shape of StuartUK and Zumero.

Have had it all here.

People who actively seek regulation in bitcoin world get on my tits.

"This is the case whether the user mining and using the Bitcoin is an individual or a corporation, and whether the user is purchasing goods or services for the user’s own use, paying debts previously incurred in the ordinary course of business, or (in the case of a corporate user) making distributions to shareholders."

Excellent.

I was told by a friend that he had gone to Virtual mining corp office
and talked with employees that are brother sisters ect from kens family!
He said he asked to buy a miner and was told that VMC can not sale to people in MO.
He said that he looked around and didn't see a whole lot going on. So when the lady at the desk
told him that they are waiting for there second batch of product to come in
because the first batch had been shipped out!

OK, good, thanks for the info.

btw It's not such an unusual thing to employ family in a new business. It's very common  - you can trust family and they are usually happy to work long hours for not much pay.

Yes Cointerra's update is far more believable than yours. Thank you for coming in here for storytime about your friend and leaving with a note about cointerra. It has been truly helpful to us.

So if I'm understanding correctly, we just got additional [hearsay] confirmation that VMC has in fact shipped product. That seems like a good thing, no?

EDIT: reading the two other posts of his, that above post may have been sarcastic (especially with the reference to believable updates). Oh well, I suppose time will tell.

People are hilarious. I love the positive reaction to a few harbor freight work benches with some empty computer cases around in a garage. I should stage some pics of my warehouse to look like I'm making bitcoin mining machines and get all the preorders as well.

Silly.

Wow this thread is crazy.  So many people with different views and not knowing who to trust makes head spin!  So if understand right there many trolls and some even on ActM side.  How come.  So much attention for this company means theres something to watch yeah.  My ears pricked up at hardware can be built for mining farm very cheap and reinvest profits back in.  Cant really trust anyone here sorry so not much use asking questions but have many.  Will read up more have looked at Cryptotrade which looks really cool but very quiet only alt cryptos being traded.  Will read Wednesday updates to learn more thanks.  Had friendly message from Duffer1 advising be very careful he lost fortune on Labcoin who scammed people bad.  Duffer1 says BTC price rise puts proprotional downward pressure on securities which explains Asic Miner (AM) value much much lower than before.  If ActM once reached 0.006 from 0.0025 without even having started business it can go much higher when does even if BTC price rise has affect on all securities AM is still 6 x original.  How high is hard guess.  Wont buy above 0.001 for bargain but someone posted 0.00001 is too high so clever enough to see troll there I hope.

Yeah, there's certainly many a battle being waged on the pro and anti side (with both sides having precious little evidence). Best advice that can be given is to do your due diligence and not to go ball's deep into a risky investment (both shares-wise and miners-wise).

Real advice for ACTM noobs:

There are a lot of trolls/psy-ops attempting to tear this thread apart from both sides.  There really is nothing to believe except for facts from Ken and verified email correspondence from VMC.  Contrary to popular belief, new info WILL NOT come out on the daily.  Lord Fontleroys live in micro-time, digging deep useless mazes.  I'm not going to give my strategy away but the basically .0001-.001 is not gonna happen with sells on the average and anyone who says that is just waiting to snatch up "dumb money" or small amounts when the markets first open and some "investors" (inevitably) panic sell...especially due to threads like this.  It most definitely wouldn't drop anywhere near .0001 IMO and most likely will average at .005, settling above .01.

Listen to Ken's radio interview (https://mega.co.nz/#!WwRUjA5J!ElhGRyQ0LUUmZeEq5nZS1FVm20Q34ro7WCLNn8Z44hU), read his updates, look at the past chart data from bitfunder.  Make your own decisions, but look at the facts and not at public opinion unless as study material.

People , if you want to speculate about eligius miners, this one is more interesting: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/159FeYxUKekbvmBu2CyWTKAH3yHhyP3qQj

Started mining about 5 Dec. aprox, at about 20THs, and have been steadily increasing. The interesting thing is it has quite frequent periods of not hashing, like if stoping for adjustments/tests.

Of course, this is all wishful thinking and you should take it with a grain of salt.

Lets recap after 314+ pages that consist mostly of whining, screaming, joyful praise, thread-crapping, trolling, circle jerking, topped of by load of bull shit fiction by raving apologist (with telepathic connection to Ken), cheerleaders and just confused noobs, who signed up in few last weeks.

So, as of today, 29.12.2013:

1) mining with hardware VMC bought (no idea at what hash rate at the moment)
2) No promised chip/rigs in sight
3) no road plan for the next 3 months
4) no road plan for next month or even for a week
5) no acceptable financial statements (sorry, but this stuff for September? was a farce. Unacceptable)
6) Ken still can not communicate (see 3 and 4)
7) Money spent on few workstations and set up in Kens garage
8) no idea, who will be working there -
(from: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=297503.msg4150821#msg4150821)
 - 8.1) How much did we pay for the tables?
 - 8.2) What kind of training or previous experience workers have
 - 8.3) How much are they paid (monthly, weekly) and have they signed the contacts (are hired)
9) How many rigs must be built as of today (total paid orders) and what is the estimated date and work hours for completing those rigs.
10) forum admins have banned few trolls - thank you.
11) Actm is still not listed on any exchange

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.
