Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

This is a good thing for the Philippines to help those people understand about bitcoin. Since, I also read that BSP is starting to give knowledge to the people who are interested in Bitcoin. This may help people be more aware in the scams relating on bitcoin transactions.

Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

This is a great news, but there was also a downside to it. Some greedy people took advantage of people who lacked knowledge about bitcoin. There was a syndicate/scammers preying on investors money. Investors bites this bait because they know bitcoins price is uprising and thats like easy money for them. Though it was “somewhat” the investors fault for not researching enough information, it is just disgusting to see bitcoins reputation get blemished by these types of people.

That is good to know. It seems they have realized the bitcoin profits for many people's lives. The crypto market has really changed the lives of so many people. Many people became wealthy after a period of entering the market and only a few experienced losses when investing inexperienced. We can see the crypto market is a great market and many countries around the world are discussing the acceptance of bitcoin.

uhmmm not really, most cases even the venues closed their door to bitcoin seminars
but those people who really is persuading are the ones who wants to help. I read that kind of information from one of the writers who made the seminar report (but not publicly shown)

Yes the downside here is many scammer attack the investors and they use word of "bitcoin" just to get their victims, hopefully before we start invest our money do some research first, don't be one of the victim of wrong bitcoin.

Philippines Bitcoin payment solution provider Bitmarket, recently introduced its first Bitcoin ATM in the country, reported TechInAsia Aug. 28.

The country is now equipped with Skyhook Bitcoin ATM, which charges 3% above the selling price listed on the Philippines Bitcoin exchange CoinXchange. Skyhook was launched in May 2014, and the world's first cheap, portable and open-source Bitcoin ATM, enabling one-way transactions

It is a great news for the crypto lovers. I think we should spread the news as much as we can. By accepting BTC  the world of philipino became bigger. They can solve their unemployment problem by this decision. They not only accept BTC, they also arrange a seminar on it. We appreciate the authority of philipino for the great decision. Hope more countries will accept BTC in near future.

Sounds good, and this is the good opportunity to all the people living in the Philippines who are involved in bitcoin. If the government will adopt the new payment system through bitcoin and it is easy to use our bitcoin to purchase our daily needs using online transactions. And many Filipinos will envist to the bitcoin that brings us to the better future.

I am also from the Philippines and i see it is a good news, but the problem is there are only few people who are accepting bitcoin as a payment and who understand all about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin because there are still many people who do believe bitcoin is just a scam and it is not true. Hoping that those people will now believe that bitcoin is a good way to earn money.
