From the point of view of convenience of calculations and development of BTC, legalization is a useful action, but from the point of view of the benefits to the state economy, at this stage, I think this is a dangerous step. Because of the high volatility of BTC, it is very difficult to make calculations in it value of goods and services.
It is more profitable for the state to issue its own crypto currency, created under the economy of a specific country.
For example, Venezuela did so.

this is good news, and hopefully this could be the trigger for the rising price of Bitcoin. and hopefully this can be a motivation for other countries to follow the steps of this country. the more countries that receive Bitcoin, the higher the value of Bitcoin.

It's nice to see that countries are starting to support bitcoin. I hope after the Philippines and others will see the potential in cryptocurrencies.  Estonia, I heard, too, is going to release its cryptocurrency.

This is at least something good. At least one Country is open to the good things that come with using Bitcoin. I guess because so many people send remittances back home they think it might be a more cost effective way to get money into the Philippines. We need more and more countries to be open to Bitcoin and make legislation that is welcoming to Bitcoiners in general, then if more and more people adopt it, then we might see a more stable price in the future and not a coin just manipulated by whales.

This is a very good news for all of us as another country is open to bitcoin. I am from the Philippines and I am so glad to hear that the government is open-minded to accepting and even trying to legalize bitcoin.

It's a wonderful news, another Asian nation that has embraced and grasps bitcoin's amazing potential. It may prove to
be a very efficient position now that the Philippines is a member of nations accepting and utilizing bitcoins. It could open
new doors of opportunity and financial ventures to it's people and economy. I think we could truly expect significant and
refreshing news and progress in the coming months and years from the Philippines, with regards to the progress and
change bitcoin might have opted and influence by then. I find it very satisfying when a country understands and accepts
bitcoins, we need more countries to support and utilize bitcoins. Another step to carry bitcoins and it's supporters to new heights.

The Philippines used to be a country that banned bitcoin. Now it accepts bitcoin again, which has a big effect on the development of bitcoin. This would be a good example of how many countries in the future will be able to ban bitcoin.

I've heard some news that there are some seminars have been done in this country. Besides, there are times that bitcoin has been broadcast in Television but in negative way. I mean bitcoin become notorious because of scammers but I think the problem is with them because they let themselves to be fooled.

This is a good news for all the current investors. There are a lot of people in freelance field in Philippines and if they use bitcoins for payments, it will push the prices.

Your thread is not about accepting but about spreading the word and knowledge about Bitcoin to everyone who want to participate and joined in, the time coins.ph of the Philippines create an option of BTC option on their wallet is the first sign that they already accept it.

i don't know yet since some of news reports warning people about bitcoin that it is something like fraud or a scam though they don't have much idea about it . bitcoin itself is really not  a scam but the platforms where you invest it . Our central bank of philippines will regulate law against  the site who operates changing bitcoin into fiat currency which is peso .  So i guess there will be no problem bitcoin in our country . bitcoin still in progress and under process on how they will operate bitcoin in our country

I have heard of that since last week and it is really interesting. Filipinos would surely be glad about it. Few countries had bitcoin banned for some reasons and it's great that Philippines has started accepting it. It is an advantage for Filipino users that they accept bitcoin which is great.
