If you have already lost most of your capital, then there is no point in selling coins. It seems to me that you need to be patient and wait for the market to recover.

You have to understand that the crypto market is very small and it can be manipulated very easily by whales and market makers. Banks and institutions coming making a presence in the market make short-term outlook even worse. Nevertheless, if you believe the crypto is here to stay when looking long-term, I think your position is better than others who will be flooding in this year.

You need to delete your blockfolio and check back in 6 months. I promise you everything will be okay.

Keep quiet. I wouldn't recommend investing anywhere with the money you're afraid of losing. These are certain risks.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?
You did the mistake wh most newbies do i.e. jump with heavy capital without knowing much about the market. There is a point when you can exit with some minimum loss after that quitting means losing everything. I suggest if you in later stage of that just HODL.

If you did not sell your coins below the price you were buying - then you did not lose your money. If the price of your coins is reduced, then you do not need to panic and sell them, wait for a while and the market will recover again.

The best thing to do is hold your remaining coins right now if you still have some and stop trading in the market today because the price is just continuously decreasing, you will still earn profit back when the market goes back to normal.

You should sold at 3x. And play with profit. One good trade doesn't make you expert. That's the problem with current pro traders. They all sounds just like that. It's like first winning in casino.

it seems that you are not alone in facing this situation, I am too, even my friend is worse, this is the risk of cryptocurrency, but believe me, just hold, you will get the value back, keep the spirit

You are absolutely right mate, investment is a risk in the world of crypto currency. So we all should keep a bit patience and support everyone in a positive way.

RELAX, ,,its not only you who has lost a considerable mount of value on their coins, the market situation is currently not very friendly to anyone. all crypto coins have taken a dip and there seems to be nothing much we can do about it, none believers will  panic and sell off trying to cut on the losses but the truth is that  they are making the situation worse by creating a dump and hence loss of more value,  you should be patient and hold on to these coins and wait for the better days

Diversifying is very important, buy 10% then if it goes lower another 10-20%, the easiest way to loose is to invest too much in one thing.

Since you've already notice that you are partially losing profit, surely it will be better to hold and wait in order to not completely lose profit. The market value is the thing which is falling not the amount of investment. So if you will be patient and once the msrket starts to rise, the loss will also recover and might be turned into profit. The market is just complicated at this moment but eventually, it might again increase.

He does not have to delete his blockfolio he should just stay away from it because that information could be needed later on.

Many strategies can be done in situations like this, and one of the safest is waiting. Not easy to do and possibly frustrating, but I think there are not many other better ways, because the market will always fluctuate, and the greatest opportunity to get capital back is to wait.

Well first of all. You cannot say you own that value. We All know the market is very volatile.
However all i could say, is HODL your Altcoins for a couple of months. Just wait and see what could market has to offer.
And Then Sell if your already Contented. And Best of luck though. Your gonna need it

I been also lost 1/3 of my money in crypto but i still hold it, because my prediction bearish trend should be finish and turn to reversal in a few month. Patient is key to recover loss and make profit. Hold and patient is best thing to do now , and if we sell now in loss, we will be miss big opportunity to make profit when bullish trend come.

You do not have enough confidence, you will lose ypur money if you continuing to panic. It is better if you will just hold your coins even the cryptocurrency market is still down.

It's not an easy situation, but I think a quick rise will be paid with great correction, sooner or later.
But you have a pretty good Altcoin composition, so it's only a matter of time until your portfolio grows again.
