Many people lost money. I think it happened because everyone thought that the market would go up. But no one even hoped that there would be such a strong fall.

You can hold your coin because if you sell it again you don't have chance to get back your money. Just believe to cryptocurrency that market will recover again. Next month is possible is the market grow again. Wait more few months .

then just leave this market because it is not for you, everybody is doing exactly the same if they have lost more than 50% of their entire budget. That is a first rule.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?
You have no choice but to hold what you have and wait the good timing to sell it . If the market recover in a few months it's hard to say but holding is the only you can do.

Well, ih these days it seems it's hard to make big gains, and there are signs that the marker will go down in the next months.
But I'm pretty sure it's another "down" phase before the next book. I hold.

it's the same as I feel, I just lost a lot in crypto. this makes me very sad and slumped, but we must be sure with cryptocurrency, never give up and keep the coin hold until the normal price.

Well, I know exactly the feeling of losing half of your investment's value, but as for me, I'm still hodling. Bitcoin is down, even all of my altcoins are down, but I still think that they will definitely go up again. There is that long-going advice in the crypto world that we should really follow, invest only what you can afford to lose. Bitcoin is just correcting itself imo, so it should go up again, as for others, a lot of them are highly correlated with bitcoin's own succes, so they might go up eventually too. You know how people love to bite the trend.

Look like you're still not ready to trade cryptocurrency professionally. You need to study a lot more before you can earn money from this unstable market.

In the past two months, I have lost 2/3 of the capital investment. Because the entire market is red, this time I may lose 60K. But I am not particularly frustrated because I know that investment is risky. This is what I should bear. I only hope that the market will recover again and let me recover my losses as soon as possible.

sometimes we are so tempted by the high price of bitcoin and altcoin that we do not think long to continue to hold even our investment, and we are not aware that the risk to lose is also greater, so we often get stuck with this situation, I also experienced things like you.
I am currently investing in ethereum, I have not earned any profit yet, but that happened I lost half of my capital to buy ethereum.
but I do not panic selling, I continue to hold it, I will not make hasty decisions, I always make sure that everything will improve and return my money even in the long term.

You should invest your money back to bitcoin because a lot of altcoins now are not more valuable there are good at the beginning and not more satisfied at the last because some of your investments will be pull down.

If you  continue to hold your coins, then you have not lost anything. You will lose them when you start selling them at the current low cost. But in general we are still in the same position. we all look that our coins are lower in price. There's nothing to be done, we need to wait for better times. Patience is key

It certainly was a fun ride up to 800 billion market cap. Stay in long enough and it'll happen again. Stay in long enough it will go down again. These are market cycles so time your entry and exit as best as you can.

Best advice is stay calm and cool. Never react quickly as this is the quickest way to get self-rekt.

if I positioned you would be disappointed and confused, but still see the market now because it is still there and anything can happen so that do remain calm and stay hodl if you wait is longer until several months ahead or maximum of this year, you will get more from what you expect.

I know how frustrating it is to lost that much but what you can only do for now is to hold and wait until everything gets back to normal because selling at a low price is useless so i suggest wait at least until you get your investment back. This business has a high risk of loosing and it is part of the game. Do not expect too much to get bigger profits first, most importantly do short term trading to get a little profit but often get it.

Oh...
Sorry about that but you have lost it already and there is nothing anyone can do to reverse that. But you can reverse the effect by investing in some promising ICO projects that does not use ethereum as the basis for their soft or hard cap. I believe with that, you might earn some funds back to neutralize the effect of your list funds

My opinion is if you have some altcoin of course you also know how the growth of each coin. Currently the trend is rising. My advice is to sell coins that are not potential and put them in altcoins that are growing well.

If you still hold it right now, the possibility of your portfolio is actually reduced by 70%. But you have an altcoin composition that I think is more likely to grow again than die. And I'm very sure if you wait longer you'll probably regret only investing $ 11k.
