I have a few more on the way, what USB hubs are getting the best results with the Bi•Furies? They do not like my Anker USB 3 hubs at all.
Thanks,
Bear
Do they work in your onboard ports but not the HUB? Yes they work fine on-board I get a little over 5GH running at 44C with a little fan for cooling

I have 9 of these running in a 10 port hub (el'cheapo off ebay) and running fine but I have wired the hub to a 5V 30A power supply (also bought off ebay) Note. I have cut the (red) power wire in the USB cable that connects from the hub to the PC. just in case it tried to pull power from it if the power supply fails.

Do you have a link to those power supplies? I do see a bunch of them just not sure which is a good one. Also can you post another pick showing how you wired that in? I'm not familiar with how to do that and I don't want to mess it up. Thanks

I put your average hashing power to a calculator and it gives $10USD perday, Are you getting anywhere near that amount per day?

Just got my bi*furys in the mail, but i cant get any of them to work. Not on windows or linux, triede both bfgminer and cgminer and alot of diffrent versions.
On windows it just says Unknown Device. And on linux i cant even find it in sudo lsusb
Triede with a powered hub, and directly into the usb 3 on the computer. Nothing seems to find the,. Can they all be defectiv, or is it this hard to get it working?

Try usb2 slots instead of 3.

Try usb2 slots instead of 3. Thanks, that solved the problem. Now they are getting detected as Bi*fury in windows. Still cant get them to work on raspberry-pi, but i suspect the usb hub gets to little power. Next problem is that the one at BXF 0 dosnt run, it stays at 0.000h/s do i need to add something in the bat file for that to work? EDIT; Fixed it my self, had to hotplug them at once. Luckily my usb hub has a on off button

I think that's just minimum UPS price and package for express shipping. If you bought 10 it would probably be same price.

Its only 40$ in europe. But as merv77 said, the shipping cost is the same for 1 or 20 units.
