CryptX, could you elaborate if there will be any further ideas/analysis this week apart from the announcement of the other project and its affects on us? Is this the big changes/announcement you where making or are there more coming?

I see your online quite a bit today would be nice if you could let us know. I'd hate to think now you've got a new project your going to forget about this one Wink

The start of the SCRYPT-X project will only effect the PETA-MINE in a positive manner. Dropping hosting from 0.45 $/kwh to 0.25 $/kwh is a pretty good example of this  Wink

We ask everyone to be a little patient while we continue our work behind the scenes.

I second  MikeMike, this SCRYPT-x makes me worrie a little bit that PETA would be just left forgotten, however, will wait and see what is going to happen.

Thank you for your work , Cryptx.

A1 is also design with Innosillicon and MLI get their foot in the door with exion/bitmine acquisition, the B2B relationship of CryptX and Innosillicon can only be strengthened by SCRYPT-X operation. In this mining industry, assuming you have not got own IP, own manufacturing facilities etc..  access to supply chain and building relationships is key.

Assuming the lego-brick infrastructure is already in-place for building, maintaining and expanding a mining operation at short notice (whether it be scrypt or sha256 based) and that hardware can consistently be added that will offset difficulty curve, it's a crude but ultimately winning formula.
(sure It's been tried before with incompetent operations, e.g icedrill, cognitive etc. but no reason it can't work) Simply becomes a case of scaling up to increase profitability.

Ohhh nooo. I was just teasing. Just trying to get a response, pretty sure cryptx realised this aswell. I have no doubt about their continued support for this project. Absolutely none. These two projects will compliment each other, and we are already about to reip the first benifit, and its a huge benifit at that.

why not, isn't there 24 hours to go?

also you can take advantage of this situation, some desperate shareholders will cashout of peta to get into scryptx

I'm not THAT desperate, i'll shave some potential profits by not going in full blast on the first batch of shares and observe the speediness of deployment (mid may is anything in between now and 25th). Less profits? perhaps, more peace of mind? Definitely.

The mid may deployment is contingent upon this sentence in point #4:  "We will start the operation of SCRYPT when a minimum of 10,000 units are sold."  Wink

In other news - here is what Butterfly pulled out at the end - a 0.39W/Gh @600Gh/s BTC miner:
https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/bfl_josh/386-monarch-update-30-april-2014.html

I wonder if PETA can be on par with these chips, or maybe use them ?

BFL does not deliver anything close to the timelines they project their is a reason they are filled with lawsuits atm ^_^
So would not take that one seriously (PS that is Bitcoin) Not altcoins use different mechanisms
Refer to Scrypt mining vs Sha-256

We are in the PETA thread, that is still doing BTC, as far as I know Wink
And Butterfly - I'm following their developments since Feb 2013 - I don't exactly agree with your opinion of them. Defending them is out of topic and not my business, suffice to say - I'm quite confident they are delivering this month (yes, it is nearly half a year past their initial projections).

BFL's credit is really bad. It is not a good idea to risk the project on BFL's products.

I don't get it. Cryptx announces that the hosting fees are divided but the value of the stock decreases as well.
It is just because some people want to partially cash out to invest into Scrypt X and the short notice kind of force shareholders to sell quickly or people do believes that cryptx won't be able to successfully run these 2 (tied) projects ?

I belive it's the first case. People cashing out on PETA to invest in Scrypt-x.

It is actually a good opportunity to buy more shares of PETA (that from this week has more hashing power and lower costs = more dividends).
