Scams make more profits if you know when to sell. I am holding Gulden for long term but they could learn a thing or two from scammers to promote a proper coin like Gulden. Scammers also have a lot of front money to manipulate the markets and market a coin before they pump the prices.

Did Gulden show that PoW2 works as intended? No. Even after the release we still have to believe the devs that it will work. Up to the first few days after the witnessing worked without a problems i don't expect miracles with the price of Gulden.

For now I guess I can buy another batch of NLG at a really low price before people start understanding that PoW2 is mor than PoS or what the hybrids offer.

The only way to seem like a good coin these days is by stating false statement, spreading fake news, etc..  while there isn't even a working product yet.
Even if you were to advertise Gulden, it will just seem like a shitcoin next to all those fake, and false coins that claim they have 250% security and 39.000.000² TPS.

The best way is to let the product speak in this market in this market. Just sell your Gulden if you can't handle the struggle to success. And if you want some quick cash, there are better ways than begging.


(PS all those other coins are performing far worse than NLG, but it seems like you dont take the time to actually research that)

Gulden have good developers but EFL has something better then all the development Gulden does. EFL becomes more scarce every 6 months. Where Gulden has too much supply. This is why EFL price puts Gulden price to shame. Development is useless without scarcity.

And scarcity is useless without usage. Development of Gulden will push for usage and adoption,that alone will bring up value and price.

Thanks to this thread I found out about the new updated wallet and I'm so excited to see the Gulden team going forward with the project. A lot of FUD and baseless accusations has been thrown against the team in the past years and it's great to see them working without even caring about the trolls.

I must add that with the new wallet I had to resync from scratch and it took only 30 mins to download the whole blockchain.

You can already play around with the witness settings. Make a new account in the desktopwallet, than choose Witness in the dropdownmenu and follow the steps. Looks great!

I am also disappointed with the people who are selling @ Nocks.  They are selling it under 0.06 eurocent and that's even @ a lower price then Bittrex.  Guess i buy some more cheap Gulden for witnessing.

Started with gulden a year ago.  I could no longer ignore all the bitcoin articles that popped up a year ago.  So I investigated which coins to try.  I bought some bitcoin.  Was not happy with bitcoin, it took forever for the confirmations to complete (hours).  I tried another coin bitbean (now called bean cash), the wallet took days to sync, not happy.  I bought gulden based off the white paper.  Gulden wallet synced fast (less that 30 minutes with 2.0 update), had a nice iphone app, great community, and a huge update with 2.0 coming, very happy with Gulden.  Gulden seemed superior by far so I decided to invest in Gulden. 

Everyone kept talking about how the pow2 update could not be pulled off.  It happend after waiting forever, but it happend.  now it's here and instead of going up the value actually went down.  Gulden seems to be a coin that is doing a lot of things right and is useful.  What do people want when investing in crypto coins? Is gulden going to continue to do things right and never be excepted by the crypto community or is it just a matter of time before people realize this coin is actually undervalued?  i still have faith in Gulden but when things don't make sense it gets frustrating.  Is cryptocurrency just being invested in to make a quick dollar or do people actually invest because they think it has real world use?

Don't mix up value and price. The value is still way higher than the price. The current people invested in Gulden and crypto are FIAT depleted in general. (I think and I guess)

Gulden is only 20% of my portfolio atm, but it's the only coin of which I think is most undervalued. It has very few people actually getting the word out (I could only actually name Jean-Luc). People rather seem to talk bad about Gulden than promote it, and I don't mean the forum trolls, I mean people who are invested in Gulden.

It's a shame, it's not how Bitcoin got big. I am personally carrying a printed paper with "Buy Gulden" printed on it, I hope I get the chance to shine on camera one day.

Let's be positive and talk positive about Gulden and maybe convince people to also invest in it and tell them that in future you can witness it so you can get more interest then with a bank.

Say if you invest 100,- euro you can only lose 100 euro but when it moons it can go x5 x10 or even further.  I think a lot of people are interested in those "new" coins and do not care about a 100,- investment because a lot of people buy lottery tickets or go to a casino also.  Not that i want to compare it with gambling but for a lot of people 100,- euro or even 500,- is not a big thing.  You do not have to find that much people to give Gulden that much needed boost.

Gulden, so far, is one of the only few projects which is serious about developing a real world usage alternative to fiat money. In a sense building the dream Bitcoin promised to be, but never delivered.

Is Gulden underpriced? That is for people to decide. But the more progress it makes, in my honest opinion, the more redicule the price tag is at the moment. With only one outcome: If ordinary people (not those few cryptonerds which call themselves investors/traders), but the big crowd of consumers and businesses find out about Gulden, I honestly think we are really in for an ‘out of this world’ price correction!

Besides being underpriced, Gulden is largely undervalued too.
The benefits of Gulden:
1) Your Gulden account is free of charge. (With the amount you pay your bank on a quarterly basis to just hold an account with them, you could probably pay for Gulden transactions your whole live!
2) small businesses have a huge advantage too. Online retailers pay for every iDeal bank payment 39 euro cent. For shops, when a customer uses his debit card it’s 15 up to 19 euro cent. If they accept Gulden, they only pay 5 ct. yes! Just 5 ct! And still get Euro’s payed to their banking account. I would promote it to my customers, because the more they use Gulden, the more money you save on transaction costs!
3) larger companies can benefit from the super fast and super cheap transactions. Worldwide! Also in weekends. And in Europe to every IBAN number. In seconds.. Not days or weeks! Seconds! And you can see that they received the money you sended. No excuses left for not sending the goods you bought anymore.
4) ah well, did I mention witnessing...and there is so much more.

If you are working with money a lot, like business wise, you seriously should have a look at Gulden!
As said, this is a new industry. People got accustomed to switching their energy or health care insurance company once in a while.
We are now arriving to a new Era where you can choose and switch to another moneysystem and leave the middleman, the predator banks behind us. Money 3.0: Gulden.

Gulden is the one coin where the working class got it right and the elites made bad investments. The rich fell for the hype themselves and their money is also tied up in trashy projects. They have all been scammed by false promises.

This is why I only invest in Gulden and Dash where development is done, Dash has better marketing and is big in places like Mexico which explains the marketcap difference. I believe if Rijk sat down and promoted Gulden to established and legit companies they would also invest in Gulden.

It still amazes me how low this coins value is, I wonder if a international rebranding would help?

When is the PoW reward dropping to 80? Traders are soaking up the 100 PoW reward coins. Why pump price when miners still dumping 60k coins a day when it's safer to boost the price when people are witnessing and 40k coins are being mined.
