Bit of a trend that whenever great news is there 1 or 2 people start pushing the price down by selling . This often is followed by people (usually the same few people) start typing messages here about the value dropping even when good news is published.

It is probably a few people who have some frustration towards the Gulden project, but we all know that in the end they will not be able to push down Gulden anymore. And they probably will make a good amount of money, because they hold on to a certain amount of Gulden because they are rather smart people. They are involved in Gulden since the early stages. They know it is the best coin out there. They know what Malcolm is creating is not being created elsewhere. The weak hands will sell all their Gulden due to this sentiment. Those people will be the people losing out in the end....

They should not update for another 6 months or the price will go to zero. Everyone dumps on news. Focus on promoting the next update and take 1 year to do it minimum.

This is what I am trying to tell Rijk, development is nothing... Reduce supply reward to 20 for PoW and 20 Witness. EFL done no development and price up 3% today and gulden price drop 7%.  Who is right? I am right , money does not need to be smart. Only transfers need to work.

some people panic and sell

everybody who sells loses in the end. the butthurt people hold on to their big stack of cheap gulden they bought years ago

because they know NLG will beat other coins in the future for sure

so everybody who sells because they think the 3-5 negative people here (freedom of speech fuck yeah let's drag in the holocaust to discredit people) have all the wisdom are going to end up feeling sorry that they sold their Gulden. Don't fall for their negative talk

I have a Pi.
My advise? Get one. It is the cheapest way to witness.
Besides that you can set a full node in a few simple steps and help the Gulden Network.
It’s fun to watch connections coming in from all kinds of countries.

- sure we postponed all development numerous times for two years, but we simply cannot afford to make mistakes
- No need to market the release, once people see our perfection, it will sell itself

I think we should give everyone a break here. Let them release 2.0 when it's perfectly certain from their side it is safe. I know the speed and delivery is always being criticized. Just look at Big Daddy Bitcoin and see all the complaints there. I've seen even worse with ICOs that raise millions and yet fail to meet roadmaps. Keep calm and keep witnessing. I like that.

The fork was not an issue. That's just how this update work. From phase 3 miners that keep on mining with the outdated software will just continue to mine for nothing and waste their energy. Only the stall of the main network was a problem, but that's being handled. Some things just can't be tested in testnet.

Correct. The fork was intended. Guldenchain.com still pointing to the old chain was intended (so they could check what was going on there) dactual and blockchain.gulden.com are pointing to the new. So the fork has nothing to do with the issues.
