We are not a US based company with no banking there, so really if a state wants to go to court they have to come to us here in the Philippines, and they won't do that till we are big enough to matter. At that point the business will be big enough for us to take on MTL in all states or to work with a partner who will handle that for us - We take our AML/KYC seriously, and have registered with Fincen already, but don't want to be hamstrung by different states as we start to build our business.

We did try to work with existing companies that license their MTL, but they are all avoiding anyone who handles crypto currency as part of their business. Not surprising since they are tied so closely with credit card companies and banks that don't want to risk what they have. I am willing to risk a bit, but just like Square, there comes a time to bite the bullet and become licensed if it is worth it. If not then we just disable certain features of money transfer for USA citizens. We are some way off that point at the moment.

However, this is worthy of discussion - when we decide to go that route, anyone know truly how much it costs? - I have heard anything from 150k if you do it yourself to 25m if you use lots of lawyers and have no business background..:-) - I have a feeling that a lot of lawyers tend to make it sound really difficult so as to pump up their fees...

You can also do exactly the same thing, sending to anyone, from a beta app we created for Android. please check it out, there are no transaction fees.

http://tagcoin.org/TagCash_V3.0.apk

It also works with any RFID or NFC tag that you have connected to your account, which you can also connect to your ID using any samsung, sony or other phones/tablets with NFC enabled. We use silicon bracelets and smartcards, so you quickly just scan the bracelet or card and if connected to the account it asks which wallet you want to take money from to pay someone and adds their ID in ..then just enter the amount, enter a note and then send. Easy.

We also have a merchant ID for charging...but that will be for merchants we verify...and there are some safeguards to protect from fraud...ask for details if you want to know more.

Here's an extra giveaway for owners of Android NFC phones (or whoever can use one) - download the TAG Personal Cash wallet and login using your ID, then tap any rfid or nfc tag (smartcards, bracelets etc) to the phone and it will ask which ID to bind it to - add it and then send me your ID to check it and reward you with 5 TAG

Open to the first 20 users that do it...

Super3 - At the moment, it has to be done manually, untill we set up all the altcoin daemons and hook up the JSON-RPC php code to make it work, sending or receiving. The same code works for sending withdrawing coins to the exchange, which is what we are waiting on to finish and launch.

After that we will also add that into the android wallet.

So if you want to add coins to the online web wallet, tell me what you want added to your account and I will add it manually - not too much please..Wink and you can then spread that around as you want..if that is what you want to do...
