Presstab, I love ya man, I really do...

But why the fuck would you use .rar as a compression tool?

Get http://www.7-zip.org/. Free, cross platform and it will decompress anything.

Is there a min stake % ? I just got one POS block, but it's only 22,5% Sad

i tought minimum was 40%, maybe you got unlucky there because i just staked myself for about 60% where i should have got less then 50.
My guess is it's just luck....

I figured it out. I thought that i have one block of 100 TEK, but they were 2 blocks of 50 each and after 1h i got another POS block.

I didn't really think twice about it. It is compatible with any machine and cuts the file size in less than half.  I thought rar was commonly used. If you need an uncompressed file let me know.

Yep this is how stake works:  I have 1 block of 1,000 TEK. After 30 days or so the block will stake. It gets the 40% stake bonus, so 400 additional tek. The 1,400 TEK is split into two blocks. So you will see a transaction on the block explorer that shows your wallet having 1,000 TEK block removed and receiving two blocks of 700 TEK.

I know. Just giving Presstab a little hell. I hated .rar back in the BBS days, and age hasn't improved it Cheesy 7 zip is pretty awesome, though.

Such a fun coin, with a good lesson in patience too. Its nice to have btctalk senior members that like the coin as much as I do.

Added import/export wallet.txt to the client.  Starting to really come together.

If anyone wants to buy some TEK, just PM me. I'm too tired to put them on cryptsy. We can escrow.

Looks like a cool way to keep track of your coin portfolio.  Thanks for including TEK!

anyone thinking you could make a living out of this coin if you had someone to buy them stakes every month?

Right now you certainly could. But like all crypto currencies, it is hard to know what the future holds.

A few more commits inspired by Tranz' work on BottleCaps

https://github.com/presstab/TEK/commits/master

Add rpc addredeemscript and decodescript
Add hex-encoded value converters
Mitigate Timing Attacks On Basic RPC Authorization
Use existing RPC_INVALID_PARAMETER constant
Use GetPoWMHashPS and GetPoSKernelPS in getmininginfo
Add GetPoWMHashPS and GetPoSKernelPS

Probably will be about a week more of work until the next wallet version will be ready.

I will send them an email.

Also everyone don't forget that when there aren't many sell orders in your price range, you might be able to find some on ShareXcoin.  I try to keep the market there freshly stocked with a decent amount of tek on the buy and sell. Check out the market here https://sharexcoin.com/market/TEK_BTC  Trade with no glitches!

http://tek.dsync.net is not in the OP, but it's a great pool that's been hashing TEK for a while.
