I've been using freebitco and had BTC and FUN Token in it for a long time, I've invested in the token and locked them for years, I have more than 1 million of FUN but unfortunately my account got blocked in August, I didn't do anything.

I also don't want to share my account informations here. Could you please guide me on what steps I should take to resolve this issue?

I think the reason they get too many visitors is their website's domain name. I remember that I found their name on Google because I searched the keyword free bitcoin faucet or something similar. If you search for such keywords, their website will appear at the top, and you will end up signing up at this casino as a newbie. Most people used their platform to claim the hourly faucet back then.

People will probably still search for the same keyword and then sign up for this platform. People don't know about the on-going issues. I wish people would do their research before they start using a website - epecially when money is involved.

I tried to research if there's other forum or platform on where freebitco.in posting their updates but it seems that they focus only here. But I wonder why there are still people not aware about the latest situation happening.

But to bad for them to experience those bad situation and maybe they should learn from this then don't gamble on a casino like this if they still have lots of running issues.

Well the people who know about bitcoin from 2016/17 era, they must have used freebitco to collect free Satoshi. At that time, everyone must have used that site to collect some Satoshi. Well spotted, you are right, they've made the box bigger and added shading. So obviously there is still someone working on it, which gives us a tiny bit of hope for getting my withdrawal.

With that said, I would never, ever trust these mother fuckers again in my life. I've had over 2 bitcoin in balance on my account over the years earning interest, but now whenever I hit 100,000 sats (from referrals) I just withdraw straight away.

At this point I think the OGs like me are here documenting the death of for what was a long time an amazing project. I started my Bitcoin Journey with freebitco. The website was responsible for some of my happiest days and provided me a huge lifeline during covid.

I'm sad to see that the leadership behind the scenes is failing not only their clientele, but the world.

Throughout its existence, has anyone ever tried to figure out where the Freebitcoin team is based? Many people didn't care as long as Freebitcoin was operating normally.
Incidentally, for many years, Freebitcoin didn't even have a ToS, and only recently they added a template ToS stating that the Freebitcoin website is operated and owned by FBC BV.
It's noteworthy that finding any information about this company is quite difficult. Nevertheless, it can be assumed that they are registered and based in Curacao. At least, this conclusion can be drawn based on a formal warning issued by the Australian regulator at the end of last year. The address of FBC BV is listed there as “Emancipatie Boulevard Dominico F. ‘Don’ Martina 31, Curaçao.”

So unfortunate to see those people suffering from this messed especially that it seems that they don't have any plan to help those people who have balance left in their platform.

If this people cannot get their funds  then we can conclude that freebitco.in intention is not good and it seems they are heading scamming people. Since if they are still serious and want to run a legitimate business the same as before they won't let those people encounter this issue.

If they want to shutdown their platform at least they give notice and give some time for their gamblers to withdraw their funds, but this is not happening here and to many bad things already happened.

The thing is the faucet at least here was always low.   There is pictures of a random sites faucet from the days at the start of Bitcoin where it gave out 10 BTC sometimes but the big thing to remember is there was no monetary value only the idea of BTC as some virtual token much criticized, the value accumulation all came later.
   This whole dynamic is almost forgotten now as new people outnumber greatly the original experimenters in crypto but faucet wise it was always a low amount.

I can only remember when it was maybe 300 sats but that was still a tiny fraction back then and nobody cared.   I referred a few people I knew, they lost interest after a dozen uses of the faucet as it takes alot of patience.   It does also scale on use etc.

If you had bots and referrals, say 5000 accounts per year you would drain $25,000/year from the faucet, $2,000/month, and we're ignoring the rise of Bitcoin over the years, the fact you would get far more than 1 satoshi per spin, could be even 10 times more with minimal risk.

Then it's $20,000/month.

Of course they had a few blocks in place, but overall these guys bought Bitcoin for peanuts in 2012-2013 and used them as a faucet, but in 2025 many years later you would have users draining you so badly.
