In my opinion they're not running away, they're going to make a new business, they have created a new company named "Reward Riot LTD" some months ago. If you ask for help in their fun 100x foundation site you'll get an answer like "we have no direct access to freebitco blah blah blah ...  Reward Riot LTD"

They will have a 1 month grace period to re-register the domain before it officially expires and goes up for grabs... this is a standard policy employed by domain registrars. I'm thinking that however serious freebitco.in's problems may be, they will still find some time to re-register the domain within the next 30 days. If I'm wrong, oh boy. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think they used to say they were registered an operated from the Seychelles didn't they? Perhaps it's possible to find information from there about what's happened/who owned the site although perhaps it wasn't founded in a real name or something either.

What are the chances they could actually shut down their webpage and allow someone else out there to acquire the name of their website? It sounds quite crazy they could allow someone else to take over their brand so easily, so I consider it is more reasonable to believe they will renew their url name and continue to run the site, as much time as possible while there are people willing to deposit, either because ignorance or the good name and reputation which is left after so many years providing good services.

Someone please keep us updated with the status of their webpage and whether it goes offline or not.

Both are still ignorance, a person who is still depositing funds to this casino even in its current state is simply ignorant of all what is happening and the complains of other users, change is a constant thing and unfortunately, freebitco have changed, they have lost their reputation not minding the good work they did and how they have contributed greatly to the circulation and adoption of bitcoin that is doing very well today.

And speaking of the possibility of them selling this domain name to other people out there who could use the name to build another business, well, it's possible but I feel they won't do this, I believe those behind the site are wealthy enough to keep this site running for as long as possible..
Maybe in the future, they will still come around again, fix everything and continue operating normally again.

One can dream and hold onto that hope, that they are going to come back turn things around and regain trust from this and other gambling communities, but a lot of damage has already been done. If someone would have told me this casinos was going to turn into something similar to 1xbit or other shady casinos we have seen around, I would have told them they were crazy and Freebitco was one of the more long-running, stable and time proven services within the ecosystem of Bitcoin gambling, but look what happened... Actually, the FUN tokens APY rate had made Freebitco like a Ponzi scheme platform. Otherwise, they were okay with the 4.08% annual interest rate of BTC.

If business is going well, owners renew their domain registration in advance rather than waiting until the last minute.
Incidentally, after the auto renew period, there should be a Redemption Period, and only after that, the domain will become available for sale.

Just did a domain check on whois.com and found that the site domain is auto renewed. So I guess the people who were eager to purchase the domain will have to wait another year for that huh.
Anyway, the site is showing a blank page which shows that things are off. This might be the end of freebitco.in for real.

Crazy, I would have expected them to throw some bucks away and renew their registration in order to continue to get more money from people depositing who were not aware of what was going on.
Still, I have the expectation they will pay what is due to the register and continue to run their casino for a long period of time, but the fact many people are seeing their web down will serve as a warning for those who did not know there was something off going on, so they can stay away and not to deposit their satoshis into their wallets.

if the website does not come in the next days, it is pretty safe to assume the owner of the casino went full fugitive mode and running away from both people who deposited and authorities.
