The largest number of scammers in the ICO. Therefore, carefully check the project before entrusting your money. Pay special attention to the development team, it should be public people with profiles in social networks. Do not be lazy to check these profiles, whether they are real. Well, if the team has people who have already participated in successful projects.

No ,this is not true ,approximately 50% of Icos are pure scam ,20% -hidden scam 30 % are good projects with  great future if their teams will continue developing them .So it means that only 70% Icos are scam.

I read somewhere that even an even greater percentage of ISO is just scammers and I think that this is a true truth, because he himself was convinced of how many swindlers and how much money they had already stolen from investors

No, not 80%, but 90. I very often encounter fraudsters, so I am completely confident that this industry should be substantially changed and improved.
Each of us communicates with scammers, and each of us was deceived more than once, with each year it becomes more and more, it becomes sad. It turns out that where money is spinning, scammers are always out there. And cryptomir is a world of big money, so that you will have to deal with scammers more than once.

In time it'll be filtered out somehow. This scamming can't continue forever.

"Only 70% ICOS are scam" Are you kidding? Only?
I think that we cant say that such amount of ICOs are scams, but they need more time to develop the product, platform and so on.

I can definitely agree with that, the whole ICO system is lent for scammers to do their thing, I'd prefer to keep investing on cryptocurrencies, which are already established projects.

Statistics are sad. But that's quite normal. With such decline. Just be more careful .

You're right.  The statistics are sad and now there are really a lot of scam projects.  I advise you before investing to explore the company.

There are a lot of scam projects now, but 80% too much to give ICO scam value, I more agree 50% for ICO scam, because there are a lot of ICOs out there that are nice and keep developing their project up to now

I think 50% is a reasonable rate, some ICOs are not scamming, they still grow as their Roadmap, but the price of the coin drop hard when being listed in the exchanges make the investors feel like they get scammed.

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...
I agree with you, I even think that about 90 percent of the ICO can be attributed to fraud, since among all ICO, there are too many weak projects that are initially issued for no clear purpose.

This is the case. The ICO's fraud rate is even more than 80%. I have read articles about this. I think these analyses are scientifically based, so I have stopped investing in ICO now!

Unfortunately it. But I think that this should be a criterion. the presence of so many unnecessary progenies is beginning to cool people out of this business. People do not get their labor compensation, unfortunately.

100%. Without our own research, we will never find a good ICO. That`s why I spend a lot of time before investing because there are a lot of things I should be confident in.

Hello everybody. The fact that many companies are SCAM is true, but there are exceptions and these exceptions increase hope for the better, because you earn with them. So come up with a detailed selection of companies, study all available information. good luck.

That's overexaggerated. Even 70-80% is too much. I believe that there are many good ICOs out there and you just need to dig a little under the surface to find which one is good.

Scams are there always. Sometimes it is really just up to us if we are going to be scammed or not because there really are indicators if a project is bullshit or it is a legitimate one.. But still there are what seems good but are actually scams
