If owning BTC is a Crime, maybe there are many people which arrested for having BTC. People which abuse Bitcoin for illegal activities which should have been captured. So, don't worry about that.   Cheesy

It might be a crime if and only if your government do not allow such cryptocurrency. But for me, having a bitcoin is not a crime for it is a legal and not violating a law of land. Maybe some country banned it but I guess because of its unstable price.

This is all ridiculous, the government has tried many times to destroy bitcoin, but the maximum they have achieved is the price drop for several months.

When the virtual currency has transformed into an increasingly popular new investment instrument, it becomes the door of opportunity for hackers and cybercriminals to exploit it. the hackers began to search for users of bitcoin through their swallow wallets.

I think no but it depends on your country if they accused bitcoin user as a criminal but for me if you are a bitcoin user probably it is not a crime...  As long you are working legal why not having it...  Bitcoin is accused as a crime because it is not legal in your government... It is not a scam nor crime it depends on the user but we cant take the fact that some people used it in illegal way that's why bitcoin has a negative impact in other countries... Just try it... The experience you will get here better and great....

That is very absurd. Why not include fiat as well? Paper money is already used in funding terrorism for decades but no one have blamed it. This is a very pathetic attempt just to discredit bitcoin.

I know what you mean, but that's not all. Bitcoin brings justice to all of us with blockchain technology but it is not perfect for other purposes. There is reason to understand and worry, but the bitcoin value is far more than that. Owning a bitcoin is not a crime.

It depends on the human nature that exists in this world. Having a lot of money is not a crime. It all depends on how they are received and for what purpose they are directed. In some cases, bitcoin can be an instrument in the hands of criminals. But Average people use bitcoin for good faith. Smiley

It depends on the country where you belong too, those country that ban bitcoin and they obligate it means holding bitcoin means a crime but those country that don't ban bitcoin means you can hold Bitcoin as much as you can.

Of course no, owning bitcoin is not a crime. It just helps you to become stable  in life but not at the point that you kill somebody.  TO possess bitcoin from your efforts and hard work is  a reward,  not a crime. To posses bitcoin from buying or investing is not a crime as well. A gun can kill but bitcoin can not.

Having Bitcoin can not be compared to having different types of weapons but possessing weapons can still be held legally in effect for self-protection. Bitcoin is harmless to us all and can not harm. So anyone thinks it is not illegal. Thanks

Lol, what kind of a retarded question is this. Do you know that people use cash to buy drugs in the real world. Now is having cash a crime? I don't think so. So stop with these stupid questions. Every thing has a good and bad use and you should focus on the good features of bitcoin instead of the negative ones.

Holding Bitcoin isn't a crime at all. Simply, we can consider bitcoin as a means of payment in itself. In this case, there is no difference between bitcoin and fiat money. Some countries are still banning bitcoin as a way of making transactions because they have not taken regulative steps towards it yet. However, using bitcoin in line with other altcoins will become a matter of fact.

How can holding a bitcoin will be crime? having a account or holding a bitcoin is not a crime because bitcoin serves as a job to those unemployed and a students, many people around the people thinks bitcoin as a tool to help them in finnancially. Bitcoin is not illegal if bitcoin is illegal there is many people in jail or goung to jail right now if it is illegal. Holding a bitcoin is not illegal.
