Guess what is happening here? Mining threats already! Dont worry, we are not pre-mining, its a testnet, getting our pool ready Smiley

Damn BitFence is golden ... far exceed expectations and ahead of schedule!!! congrats

Yeah man Bitfence are really off to a great start, can someone explain what's happening in the image above? Is it a demo of the Bitfence mining platform?

They are testing the bitfence network on a testnet to make sure they don’t have issues. Basically they are actively trying to break their blockchain during this phase in the testnet this basically shows their testnet pools performance

Thanks for the explanation Phantam, it looks like development is moving along very nicely. This means everything should be ready for the MVP launch in Q3!

Just to add to the learning curve, I don't know if you guys have seen this article but very informative on the project, some good detail
https://coinworldstory.com/bitfence-io/

This is a pretty cool article about Bitfence, it doesn't go into to too much detail but it sums up the key points of the project nicely. One thing I'm curious about is this about Bitfence mining:

"StingMiner software application will gather suspicious networking activities and invite/attract potential hackers to attack BitFence configured devices as cyber victim systems."

Does this mean it is only the hardware using stingminer software that will attract hackers, or could other computers connected to the network not using stingminer also be liable to hacking attempts?

Watch this and find out how BitFence Threat Intelligence System works === https://youtu.be/dGNL93zAPXE
Thanks for sharing this video it is just 2 minutes of your time and it explains the system very well and if you go on their channel you can see that they have another video about Bitfence itself.

Interesting Video very explanatory thanks for sharing, i now understand how Bitfence system works. @nesh1 can you help with the link of the video you talked about thanks.
Yes ofcourse here is the link to their YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8rE15nKAGpjhgI4LuhkvkA and here is the link the to the video about bitfence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm4K3pHR6gU.

Their channels really helpful for those that don’t “get it” on how their platform will differ and how the chain integrates into their plans. It’s always good for teams to put together quality videos that showcase what their goals really are for their longterm project
Thanks for sharing the link to the Bitfence youtube channel. The videos are good for a first overview about a project and a simple explanation. For further details you have to read the whitepaper and some ICO reviews.

I would advise reading the whitepaper for more details but for ico reviews one have to be very careful as they can be sometimes misleading.

It is a very nice Youtube video. I agree with you that they should put it on the front page so that investors who are interested in this project will have a general idea about what it is about.

Yeah it is, I like the animation that Bitfence already have on the home page. But you can never have too many videos, maybe they could move the video to the top of the page next to the counter, people will notice this more easily.

Thanks mate very selfless of you i must say. Now i can watch all videos from Bitfence from their Youtube channel, i expect to see more videos from the team as i have come the conclusion that people understand more by watching videos rather than reading.

BitFence will release CyberStore with software and hardware solutions available for purchasing with HNY tokens on Q4 2018 🙂

What type of hardware and software will be available at store? I mean I am expecting range of products based on organisation or individual need.

I agree it is a very detailed explanation about how bitfence will stop hacker's from having access to a network server and how hacker's can be stopped immediately..

Bitfence router is really easy to use more like a plug and play thingy, protecting our various cyber activities with alot of simplicity https://medium.com/@genievic2324/bitfence-remove-hacker-from-your-network-3c16368917bc
Can we already buy the router? as it seems nice to have one and test how it goes or are there any reviews about the router from people who already have it?

BitFence already developed router? I though they will start working on this once softcap is reached. If router is ready then its really good news.

I do not think they are done yet. But I have not found any specific information.
For this I have discovered this information: these pre-configured secured routers can be purchased with
integrated BitFence 3-month subscriptions to year with very affordable options

I am reading subscription fees for the first time. As an investor I think that's good, more revenue from Bitfence is good for me as well :-)

It also seems the subscription model is quite suitable in this case since you will be constantly getting updates. Since it is a subscription mentioning affordable is also really important. I think it would be great if subscription are pain using Bitfence tokens.

Incase you may be wondering where the miner will work... miner will work on Windows/Linux/BSD/OSX...  Instead of PoW or PoS they use proof of threat. Each of the miners is a small but smart honeypot. Hackers see it as attractive target and attack it. Information about a hacker is collected and submitted to BitFence server (equivalent of ""share"").

It will be interesting to know whether there is a range as said, I mean; one business could be a small home business and another organisation could be a massive business across the UK. It will be interesting to know more detail on the actual product and different options?

Miners of HNY Tokens should be running BitFence proprietary intrusion and malicious actors  detection software application called “StingMiner”. StingMiner software application will be  running on existing hardware used by individuals or companies and/or as an isolated low powered mini-computer device such as Raspberry Pi or BeagleBoard

A little insight on how honeypot works; honeypot connected to the network behaves as a legitimate computer system with all the right services and attractive data to mislead hacker in attacking it. When hacker attacks honeypot, this honeypot gathers all information about hacker, the source of attack, the method used.

So if i am right the hacker cannot attack your own computer? instead he is attacking the honeypot without knowing it? and this is how we know everything about him/her amazing!

Now i can't wait for that to happen, i'm really hyped about this, i think is the first of its kind, imagine going through the store to sought after your favorite protection package, the feeling is awesome and is another means where the project can actually generate some nice revenue for their continued existence

This part of their project really got me interested. Will be nice to experience this. But I will want to ask, will there be any way for the BitFence technology to incorporated into an already owned hardware that wasn't made by BitFence??

A successful run for sure. Looks like it was; there was a huge leap or that counter was off and not in sync either case.  I guess what matters now is the next phase. The next one is set for 2000 ETH
