We can run a miner application on your Windows / Mac / Linux machine. One per IP address.
We can download Raspberry PI / BeagleBone SD card image and mine with PI 24/7.
We can get a pre-configured appliance from us to run on any virtualization container

Nope.  Look at the current security solutions, there are very effective enterprise level products that stop external threats, but did you see in the news that a Las Vegas casino was hacked via a smart thermostat in a fish tank?  We need to be realistic, this is going to help in the fight again hackers, the honeypot will finger print and send out to the rest of the network, and their routers will block any further attacks, but it isn't going to 'make them give up'.  Maybe Bitfence should also do an educational series on cyber security in companies, like I said in a previous post, you can have all the security in the world, but if someone plugs in a USB, or gets tailgated into the office etc it's over.

The concept of giving up is a tough one. Hackers well some of them find peace in hacking it is like a hobby. newbies like to the feel of accomplishment seniors love the challenge.  There is always room for hackers lol. But I think having an active net to attract hackers is one of the way to speed up the protection process. I don't think eliminating is guaranteed 100%; you can try to match the hackers speed in protection. I think this is one that could be achieved. Let us see.

The honeypot is going to be nice, but if it's placed inside your network and detects someone, your already in trouble.  I think the thing everything thinks is it's instantly going to stop all malicious users.

If the security bitfence is trying to set up is anything to go by, it's an holistic system here intended to secure the user all round but it will be easily defeated when there is a lack of information or rather education on the part of the user which is by itself a big threat, i think bitfence can look at educating alongside the set up, that way the right tool is used with the right knowledge
