Yes I saw that the other day. As soon as I got done reading the article on the hack I thought abt how bitfence will help towards future attacks like this one.

The MEW breach was of the Public DNS's, not their websites servers being hacked. Amazon/Google's DNS were poisoned for around two hours. True. BitFence may not be the perfect answer to this specific problem, but it does aim to close an existing gap in perimeter security defenses. Perhap they can find ways to identify and alert their routers to direct people away from affected dns servers?

Yea, that's what we've been stressing about, imagine the loss that was made because of this, the global world need projects like this to help assist by providing what they are good at, which is protection, the effect that such projects can have in our lives is unimaginable, of course individuals will not understand this until they fall victims of hack

The white papers are a really nice addition, it's good to have this information available and also in as many languages as possible as it will reduce the amount of confusion about what the project is actually targetting as its short and longterm goals and how it differs from the normal companies we all know.

The last 12 hours with 29% Bonus. Pre-Sale until 1.5.2018 12:00 AM UTC On Tuesday the Publis-Sale starts, the bonus rate continues linear drop to 0% at the end.
Do you think that these bonuses they give are actually working or just a little bit because as i have seen there hasn't been that huge a difference before and after they did this bonus.

No, it was a public DNS attack, a honeypot or security router is not going to stop that. You need a hardware wallet or metamask, and to ALWAYS ensure you check the SSL cert on sites like that.

Yep the people that got "hacked" as they like to call it because of MEW was because they didn't pay attention to what they were doing, the fake site had a fake certificate and was throwing an error, wtf are people spending money especially using their private key on a site thats reporting a huge security issue (red ssl certificate). I'd say to stick to metamask and hardware wallets whenever possible as well. As dns hacks seem to be very common lately. That said this isn't what bitfence is being target for its best to review the whitepaper to really understand what their trying to accomplish and defend people from

I like the idea of removing hackers from the network We all love the idea I mean who won't Is it really possible for say mew partnership with Bitfence as added security to the myetherwallet.com security? What do you think guys. I would say not only with MEW but also with various cryptocurrency exchanges. They are constantly targets and many of those have already been hacked. MEW should really watch it, I just wonder why the constant attack on them, I know they are quite popular but I mean they ain't the only one, I do like to see Bitfence come into partnership with a lot of crypto project that deals with wallet and exchange or even other security project as a way of synergizing to fight a common enemy in the cyber space Nathan01, Do you know what you saying? If its happening then no one can predict future price HNY.. I hope they will do this. and funny enough I wasn't looking at the price angle of things I was only concerned about what such strategic partnership can bring in as per quality security service, but you raised a very interesting and attractive chapter to the discussion, and all I can say is wow! Just imagine such partnership in terms of value projection of HNY

"The ERC20 HNY Tokens would be distributed automatically through smart contracts during TGE to the Ethereum address provided by participants." That's mean they are distributing tokens same time of the purchase?
Yes, the smart contract sends you the tokens equivalent to the amount you invested as soon as you've sent the ETH it's standard for most ERC-20 tokens. This practice I believe is a good one but then the idea of holding until the end of ico seem to work better. Many investors (especially early ones) tend to become impatient if they see a token lying dormant for a while in their wallet.

Hello when you say patent pending - what exactly has been patented? Also the sting miners deployed will be based on what to detect threat- are you building you custom engine or it’s using open source.
Thank you for your questions! It was answered on https://t.me/BitFence for everyones benefit, I'll copypaste it here: To answer patent question, patent called "Decentralized system and method for cyber threat protection" and covers whole system design, sensor network, risk scoring engine, blockchain application. StingMiner is proprietary honeypot, based on several open source projects plus incorporates many best practices for honeypot design, not implemented anywhere in LGPL/BSD/Apache. Risk scoring engine is absolutely proprietary, it uses not only honeynet, but many open source threat sources, as well as our own database of threat signatures shaped as a pre-trained classifiers. Classifier training never stops, and by correlating various sources we can establish quality training set at any time. In addition to AI classifiers, such as SVM's we use of course multivariate rules engine which knows about severity of attack, possible impact, originating country, type of business attacked, etc...

The sooner you get in, the better for you as the bonuses for early birds are great.
The early birds bonuses are form of compensation and appreciation to them for the trust they have in the project. Some investors love seeing people investing in a project first before developing confidence sort of Users will get rewarded for backing the project from the start when they isn't any 'product' as such; however - bitfence look one step ahead of the game and already implemented an iOS app Yeah being an early investor could therefore lead to making bigger profits especially if a project is successful because the discounts would be higher and this means a higher return.
