I'm quite happy when there is KYC because some multiaccounts and bot will be discovered (not everyone but at least a part of them)....

I joined many campaigns. But so far I didn't face this KYC at the end of the bounty campaign. But as I read the replies on this thread, I found that some of the hunters really experience this kind of a thing. So do you really advise that I will submit KYC at my future campaigns when it hasn't told by the bounty manager at the first place?  Huh Huh

If that is something they need to do then it should be based on some kind of level of value so if someone is claiming  below $500 they do not need to do it as an example.

Most bounties are in their early days so I would be hesitant in handing information to just anyone, treat your info like your private keys.

KYC is almost necessary to discover part of multiaccounts..that's the main problem of automated portals like bountyhive, where there are too many people doing bounties and it's impossible that there are no bots or multiaccounts there....

What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

yes, some things become a problem about KYC. we sometimes late to find out in the end of the campaign there are verifications that we must do like KYC.
I am not sure about this, but there is no other choice but to follow it. otherwise we will never be rewarded. this is what I regret should the bounty have other options that are not too burdensome.

I think if you have put all of the work into the bounty campaign over a number of weeks, you would be stupid to not give KYC details and lose all of your earned tokens.

There's nothing wrong if they implement KYC in bounty but i think it's must be announce at the beginning of the bounty and not at the end. There are a lot of bounty hunter that don't like doing it and some of them thinks and me that kyc is only for investor and not for the hunters that are promoting their product. I think campaign rules must provide  at the start so bounty hunters will have to think if they are going to join or not.

I agree that it's not fair. Bounty hunters should understand all conditions and decide whether they are ready for these conditions or not

KYC is important for businesses. its really boring to call for KYC at the end of bounty. It should be clear at first stage whether kyc is needed or not.
Yeah youre right but it can reduces bounty participants in terms of joining different campaigns. But I believe that KYC is the most accurate to maintained the bct forum activities to be perspective.

I think the best approach would be to:
1. Announce the need for KYC approval at the beginning of the campaign.
2. Request KYC at the end of the campaign.

That way everything will be transparent (1.) and people will have extra time to check the validity of the project before submitting their data (2.).
I actually think this should be added to the regulation case.

I don't see anything wrong in KYC, I understand that the owners of multiaccounts and the adolescent are not happy about this procedure at all, but nobody promised that everything would be comfortable and anonymous all the time.

Using KYC is not wrong, it is for security that no one will cheat of having multiple accounts but as a student, we have problems with the use of it because some requirements for the verification, we actually do not have, which make us no pay at the end of the campaign. We are struggle where to find valid ID, billing, business permits etc., because we are dependent with our parents. KYC will be big problem to us if every campaign required that.
The problem is when the developer gives a lot of requirements to complete the KYC progress just like you must provide your passport, ID, Bill and many more at the same time to prove if you are from or have the same address. Not all of people can fill all of the requirements and if they can't pass all of requirements and they can get their payment.

I strongly agree with you admin must change the rules on this forum every project should be set to wear kyc or not at the beginning of the project because if at the end of the project suddenly ask for that kyc that i become very annoyed

When at the very beginning of the bounty the company is warned that it may be necessary to verify the identity, this is normal. I myself will decide whether to participate in the project or not, but when it is reported at the end of the project, it is not good.

I do think its fair enough. KYC is required in any kind of investation and as a bounty hunters that receive the coin we should agree with this matter. There is a lot of use of KYC such as prevent money laundry and prevent double disbursment with different id. The problem with KYC is we dont know what they going to do with our identity and the security of it is the main problem.

Yeah I think so too that KYC verification should be stated as the start of the campaigns because there are lots of participants that does not want KYC. I think its unfair for bounty participants.

I think that ICOs should clearly state, if there will be a KYC check or not, at the end of the campaign. As I am not interested to join a bounty that requires KYC check. I don't feel secure with KYC check, as our data can be manipulated.

Based on my research even I don't ever encounter about KYC, But KYC system has a form of conflicts to many people, because there are some people likes on this particular rules but there are also people against on that certain KYC system, because they don't like to share their personal information to protect their security of life. And even KYC is something a form of solution to bounty hunters or multiple users of account but it doesn't guarantee that it is real tool to solve on such problem, maybe it makes only difficulty to all crypto fan.

I think the admin should address this issue immediately because personal information is very private and they should protect the members of this forum. I personally don't like to give my personal information to any person who are not qualified to handle sensitive data like this. Not announcing KYC in the beginning of the campaign is like deceiving the participants and it is not far from scam practices.

This is also a means to show that this is a serious project but should request from the beginning of the program. Just to end the new program, KYC is not fair to those who can not pass KYC for some reason.
