Doing KYC for bounty campaigns is not a bad thing imo. What is a bad thing is doing it at the end in case it was not mentioned a priori .
It should be in the terms of the bounty campaign, otherwise it will result in a lot of people forfeiting their rewards. (I wouldn't give my ID to a shady ICO company for a few hundred USD).

What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.
Is this fair?
Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.
What do you think?
Yes, I agree with you. It is very unpleasant when you participate in a bounty company, do your job and at the very end you learn that the rules have changed. What you need to pass KYC. I don't want surprises like that. It is necessary that everything is always spelled out in advance.

I had participate with many bounties that required KYC from their investors but they didn't ask bounty participates to do so as bounty participates are advertisement methods. nowadays many bounties required KYC from bounty participates at the end of their bounty and It is clear to scam bounty participate of those projects.

In my opinion it would be fair to announce about KYC at the beginning of ICO. This would be a respectful attitude towards the participants.

For me, i would not support this kind of doing because bounty hunters shouldn't do KYC because in the first place we're not customer we're the advertising agent it Should be KYAA lol. We are not investors so we dont need this shit. We need to protect our identity because it may be use for scam in the future.

I think if campaign need kyc they should announce it before ico not when its ends, so basically they are cheating to take more money to themself.
Yeah I think it's not about kyc that makes us more notified to participate bounty campaign but on how we seriously have a positive info in posting bct forum activities.

Why are the bounty organisers free to change the rules? This is in itself unfair. For bounty hunters and dev, they are equal. They are cooperative, not employer-employee relations.

There's no reason to be afraid of KYC. Uncomfortable, it takes a lot of time? All this is nonsense ... Some companies already use the services of third-party organizations that provide the opportunity to verify the identity of their database. You can correct the data, but you do not need to perform the initial work to enter your data.
How is there no reason to fear KYC?? You transmit your personal data to some unknown hands, the company that you require, gives you own the same data. How many cases have already been that all of this leaked out to the Internet and none of it is not responsible. For example, as an option, according to KYC, you can look for people who have invested a lot of money in projects, then come to their home knowing their home address and extort money. Are you scared ? A zero knowledge proof self-sovereign identity solution would solve this. That's what Blockpass is aiming to provide: blockpass.org

Sort of like a certificate that you are who you are. But how does this app verify that the same user still uses the cryptographic validation after the validation? does it validate every time it is prompted for use?

Make the announcement of the kyc requirement at the end of the bounty is not fair. It is very clear that the project will try to cheat the hunters. It will be ok if they announce it at the begining.

This is definitely not fair to the hunters. In the first place the ICO should have annoced that a KYC is needed for getting the rewards for that ICO. However hunters should also be abit more proactive by sending a pm or a message to their telegram group to check is a KYC needed if not the hunters are just doing free jobs.

KYC for bounty and airdrop is a red flag for me. No to giving out info for airdrop. KYC for investment is acceptable at some point. Thinking again, bounty would be acceptable in some level as well... After all, bounty hunters are freelance marketing specialists and a company has the right to know the credentials of their employee...
But telling this in the last moment is unacceptable.

It's a joke, the full terms of the campaign should be stated before the bounty starts, a lot of times I've not even noticed that I need to do KYC either, I do a lot of bounties so don't really like having to check them every week.

I would prefer if KYC was announced at the beginning of the campaign. I do not think bounty hunters should use KYC, except for investors. KYC can serve as a tool to avoid fake investors in ICO. Bounty hunters can directly see which one is spam or not

Yes this KYC requirements must Include in Bounty Thread so that the future Bounty participants will aware if those specific Bounty Campaign has KYC requirements in the End of the Bounty Promotion. Suddenly they just Announce it as a surprise !

I also disagree with the decision that KYC is held at the end of the bounty campaign program, because the KYC bounty campaign should be done at the beginning of the program, so that from the beginning of the bounty program, the participants of bounty hunter can already be filtered correctly, and from the beginning the program no longer multiple account

The requirement of passing the KYC check at the end of the ICO generosity campaign is considered a fraud by the ICO team. They thus avoid paying paid tokens by members of the generosity campaign, if they for any reason do not want or can not pass such a check.
Besides, I think that the ICO team does not have this right at all. Participants in the generosity campaign do not invest in the ICO, so they do not need to undergo such a check.

First of all, it should be clearly stated in bounty conditions that the team according to its legislation requires KYC, regardless of the amount of payments, because participating in the company's bounty on social networks, the earnings there are not very high up to $ 100, and providing documents is ridiculous if the amount of earnings starts from 2000-5000 $ is already a solid amount. In general, to provide their documents without having any payments yet and not knowing what the outcome of the ICO will be is not correct.

I'm negative about this. Managers of companies or the companies themselves deliberately hide the passage of KYC at the company's bounty, because they will lose participants. In the end, the owner of the tokens are those to whom it was prohibited on the ICO.

Yes, true KYC is typically used by investors who want to invest their money in part to the ICO project. And when the participants of the bounty when they claim to do this of course risk KYC charging very large, they are afraid that their personal data is misused. I agree when their participants did not undergo charging KYC.
