Hold or sell it depends on you. I think it depends on what coin you have. If you have a potential coin, it's better to hold it for a while because I'm sure the value of the coin will go up and when it reaches the value you want you can sell it. But if all you have is shitcoin it is better to sell it because holding is just useless.

I think it will depend on the altcoin you buy because not all coins can recover and then returt to pump. there are also some coins that pump then drop and die? if the price of the coin you bought weakened. you have to re-calculate whether the coin is still potential and have more requests or not? if there are still a lot of demand and investors maybe you can hold it and be patient for longer but if there is no chance to go back up. you should sell it and do cutlose

I see past years  also this season altcoins and btc prices are fallen. Because this is a nature of cryptocurrency. Ithink we can get lot of profit holding our altcoins for longterms. May be 2020 altcoin market will be raised its prices.

If you do not require money for emergency reasons never withdraw the money as the returns which btc or some coin in future will give you will be way beyond then anything else could even reach to this returns. SO rather than t regret later be sensible to keep holding and keep buying now.

I suggest if the coin is stable and has potential, you can hold unto it as it will still recover and make you a proud owner. If you think you are not too sure of the coin, you can decide to sell some of it and hold the rest as it might still gain it stand and grow up.
