From my testing of the pool, I was having about double the number of stales as arsbitcoin.com.

Shouldn't matter; ABCPool pays for stales.  Wink

I noticed my invalid rate was pretty high to begin with (2-3%).  But, I've had very few invalid shares lately, so my lifetime invalid rate has dropped to 0.78% over the past couple days.

However, I have also noticed that ABCPool stats generally report my hashrate to be between 1950 and 2150 MH/s, while my mining client consistently reports 2200 MH/s.  One would think that if the Current Hashrate statistic on the site is a 10 or 15 min. average, I would be seeing my hashrate over 2200 sometimes and under other times.  It's difficult to tell if this problem is affecting my income since I can't see any 24 hour stats to compare to my previous pools.  I guess I'll have to start manually logging my balance at certain times of day.  Undecided

A suggestion, if I may:  Make the automatic payment feature payout the whole balance.

Currently, if I hit my threshold of say 3 BTC around noon, I don't get paid until 2300 (which is fine; I don't care about the delay).  But, at that time I only get paid 3 BTC.  This leaves behind a balance of whatever I made between noon and 2300, which complicates determining my hourly or 24-hour earnings.

I agree. There is quite a bit of work that needs to be done to tighten up the interface to the pool and to give miners the information that they need.

Hi flower1024, thank you for your suggestion. At this time, we do not have plans for merged mining. We are continuously investigating how we can give our miners the highest turnover for their efforts. We also take merged mining into consideration.

any eta when 24h stats are going to be added iv did some tests and for whatever reason i get more mining on deepbits pps then on this pools pps i tried to do a 24hr test and keep track of it pretty close abc i got 0.62 for around 1300mhash and deepbit i got 0.65 for 1300mhash.  Im only mining at 1050-1100mhash now tho iv reduced my clocks to keep temps down and use little less power sence coins arent worth much.

Dear miners,

ABCPool is migrating to a new server in a few minutes, which is expected to cause ca. 2-5 minutes of downtime.

MC

Update: Migration was succesfully completed!

time to settle down miners

I used to mine with abcpool for a month now and I am pleased. Uptime was delivered almost alltime and payed shares were adjusted to diff in no time. Instant payout behaved like named. So I decided to raise "freefee" to two %. I know it's not that much but I think every bitcent helps abcpool for development and when diff keeps decreasing I will raise again.

thx abcpool-team, cheerio

Tried to sign up with a 30 character password including symbols. Didn't work. Used a shorter alphabetical one and it worked.

50 characters is now the maximum password length, and you will get a notice when you go over that during regisration or pw change.

MacT just notified us that he was not getting automatic payments anymore. Automatic payments were disabled during migration, but we never enabled them after we were done; we simply forgot! They are enabled now, and should be functioning normally. That means any (back)payments will occur at the normal time, 11:00 UTC.

Thanks to MacT for letting us know about this.
