Looks like whitelisting may have begun; a good chunk of my miners at my primary location are back, but alternate locations (and thus IPs) still showing down.

Confirmed the website is back. My miners are still unable to connect.

UPDATE: we have been experimenting with various ways of mitigating the attack. A portion of all users is now able to mine again, but network congestion from the attack could degrade performance. If you are experiencing dropped connections you are advised to use a backup pool for now. If you cannot connect, it will probably be at least 8 hours before you can mine on ABCPool again.

Back down again for the past hour or so... Thanks jwu, we are aware (and still working on it). The attack had subsided for a bit, but is now back in full swing. It seems some more measures are necessary.

What is the reason for the outage? I have temporarily switched back to deepbit.
When you initiated the 4% mandatory fee it was because you said you were reliable now. Now with this major outage will you be rolling back the mandatory fees?

Way off topic with the post. This is about ABCPool and you have no right to post here about non pool related issues. You're welcome for answering your question. Hard to believe you missed a post from over 8 hours ago...

I'm posting to get email notifications for this thread.
I'm also having issues connecting at the moment, I'm mining for Deepbit.net while I wait for ABCPool.co to get back online.

The barrage has not subsided yet, and I'm afraid a workaround is impossible at the moment. Time for some sleep. We'll continue working on this first thing tomorrow, but it seems like we may just have to wait this one out.

Bummer. They'll eventually subside. Gave me an excuse to correctly set up my fail over though; I had clients going to like 15 different pools, made it a bitch to find all my money

So a 4% fee does not include DDOS mitigation?
A 500Gh pool with a 4% fee equals 20Gh of mining power for abcpool.co not to mention other donations.
At an average of $5 / BTC, that's around 16 coins a day for a total of $80. Over 30 days, that's $2400.
Seems like abcpool.co is making enough $$$ to mitigate the attack.
Why aren't you doing this for your loyal customers when you say you have the most reliable pool?
This is an obvious weak link in your reliability.
