I just wanted to say, and not to jinx it or anything, but lovely performance these last few days. Perfect. No hiccups on my end. It might be one of the most "boring" pools I've been in; I simply start mining and get X amount of shares a day, X amount of bitcoins a day. Fantastic.

Bravo.

How is yourbtc.net?

I can never get my miners to be stable on this pool.

OK. Can you please clarify 2 things here for me. Thanks !

Firstly, do you plan to implement merged mining any time soon ?

Secondly ( and most important ) : is this a real true PPS pool which pays out even if the pool cannot afford it / has not found a block in a long time. For example, SMPPS only pays out what the pool has earned and is not true PPS because some shares may get paid less etc.

Hi bulanula,

For this moment we have no plans to implement merged mining. We are continuously investigating all aspects of our pool to ensure that our miners get the highest profit for their effort. We are also investigating merged mining.

ABCPool.co is a real true PPS pool. That means that we take all the risk, and *our miners have no risk* at all. They just get a fixed amount per share! Smiley

Hi Fred0,

Can you clarify what you mean by not being updated? I looked at your account, and the payments reported by bitcoind and those registered in our database are exactly the same. The total amount is equal to the amount reported on in the stats section, and also equal to what the API reports when I plug in your key. There might be a caching delay of a few minutes sometimes; maybe that's what your seeing?

All the numbers for the account are fine...simply, the lifetime numbers("payout_history") are stuck when using the JSON API call.

Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing. Maybe the field name changed, idk.  Everything is reported correctly on the website.

Hope this helps.

Ah, now I understand what you mean! I think you may be confused about the meaning of the payout_history field. That is understandable, since there's no explanation of it anywhere. So what does it mean?

The payout_history field contains the total amount of all payouts done to you. It increases only after a payment is made, either manual or automatic payout. It is therefore normal behavior that payout_history is the same number for a long time. Want to see for yourself? Then try calling the API, the do a payout, and then call the API again. payout_history should have increased with the exact amount of the payout.

If you have any further questions please let us know,

MC

Hi Guys,

I've been running this site http://www.btc-poolwatch.com/ which consolidates information from the JSON API of various pools. You will need to enter your API Key.

If you are using CGminer or have different rigs mining with different pools, this should be useful to help you monitor your miners across the pools and check when there's a fail over.

You can also access the site with your mobile, it will display a mobile friendly version.

I've just added ABCPool.co to the list of supported pools.

Please try it out and let me know (via PM or here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=10543.0 ) if there's any bugs.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Koo

News
We've recompressed some rediculously bulky images on the site earlier this week. People using a mobile connection to check their stats should notice that ABCPool.co loads much faster now!

I missed the predictability, even if it's not a maximization versus some other methods.

I'm back in your warm embrace.

I said, I'm back... yeah. That's right. Embrace me.

Embrace me tightly. Don't mind that tightness. Just go with it.

Just came home from lunch and Im noticing I disconnected twice inside a 5 minute period. Are there any server issues right now or is this normal for this pool?

[Update]

I havent seen any disconnects tonight and it seems like the server just ran out of work when I checked my console in GUIMiner. I have since set a fallback pool although since my hash rate hasnt dropped I dont know if its working. Thats a good thing.

Any reason you're using GUIMiner versus CGMINER? I was the happiest person in the world when I discovered CGMINER and swapped.

I do sort of miss Phoenix's slightly-higher (for me anyways) performance, but CGMINER's features are just stunning. I don't CARE if ABC goes down, since I know they'll all move over to someone else, intelligently Cheesy
