ISSUE: Payments are down temporarily, it may take up to 24 hours before we get them back online.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Not working for me. I just tried to cash out now and I still get the message:

"Payouts have been disabled temporarily while we investigate a payout issue. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."

Ok, it looks like that part was fixed but now it is saying "destination is not a valid bitcoin address"

EDIT: Just tried again a couple minutes later and it worked. Thanks for resolving the problem, apologies for the skepticism on my part, I've just seen too many pools here get "hacked" or whatever and the miners lose their BTC.

You're welcome QuantumFoam. I can certainly understand where you're coming from, there's been a number of pools scamming people out of their earnings.

ABCPool was actually *really* hacked last year, and we made an agreement with those affected to compensate their losses. Therefore I'm proud to say that ever since we started the pool in august '11 we've always payed out any Bitcoins our miners earned.

Should we ever shut down ABCPool, everyone will be given ample opportunity to withdraw their balances. However, we're going as strong as ever and we plan to be around for a long time!

I joined the pool today! It's ok so far, cgminer gives a message that the pool isn't providing work fast enough some times and it'll go to another pool for a minute then come back to ABC.

I like data.  Is it possible to show total worker connection time to the server?  I suppose that might be a mess to track but I would love to gather it to gauge # btc per X.  Shares per worker would be cool too.

It does that all the time even on other pools for me so seems like its standard behavior from what I have experienced with it.

And i personally dont mind if ABC pool collect more fees with 2-2.5% fees IF they provide us merge mining with namecoin because nowadays namecoin exchange rate is quite high compare to last few months now the

exchange rate is 0.00864448btc Per nmc exchange with is quite nearly 3% earning if i am not mistaken !

and i personally believe namecoin has the equal potential as bitcoin i and the future value of namecoin will rise event more !

As my calculation now mining at BTCguild has more profit than ABC pool due to the value of namecoin increase !

so i hope the pool administrator can consider my suggestion !

IMPLEMENT merge mining with namecoin with fees not more than 2.5% !

[Join MMM and get up to 100% per month]

pools like EMC and maxbtc.com already offer this and they do it with 0 fees. maxbtc even has all those pretty graphs and stats which is more than what I can say for abcpool.co.

No they don't offer PPS if you want that http://mmpool.bitparking.com/pool or btcguild if you want to pay their high fees.

Yes, EMC offers PPS.  Anonymously to boot!  No login required.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

Long polling connections are reset every minute for performance and compatibility reasons, you can ignore any messages about that.

Your problem seems to be something different however, because your miners aren't getting any work. What client and version are you using? If you want you can PM me a log file and I'll take a look at it.

Regards,
MC
