Yesterday DEX spoke about the beginning of the testing period. There are many messages in the Telegram group. Has anyone participated in testing Cold Staking?

Based on the linked above

Foreword
Cold Staking is a unique feature of Callisto Network that rewards users for staking. The implementation is planned during the first hard fork (HF1) which is set on November 11th.

Please bear in mind the following:

Cold Staking is at its development phase at this moment and will not be implemented in production until it has been extensively tested.
Make sure not to send any funds from mainnet. You can use this faucet to request test $CLO.
A protocol description is out of scope in this post – an extended writing about Cold Staking can be found here.
Cold Staking contract is currently deployed at 0x99e318aa116bba18db83cfcfc9d071d8ddb6fa17 address.
A human-friendly UI will be developed for Cold Staking, this is just for test purposes.

Note: Don't know if that is November 2018 or what? . But overall, that article is useful and full of good sense about the Callisto network activity. This will be the most easiest way to understand the system itself, well done!

I agree with you. The article is good. I'm glad that the testing started, maybe after that the price for the CLO will go up.

Spammer alert, this is why merit is created. On this day, it's hard to rank up because of this kind of post and users here in  bitcointalk.org . So sad when you are serious in this ranking system.

If you check out most threads here on this forum the merit system still hasn't done a whole lot to prevent spammers from posting nonstop.

The creators of the forum should simply ban the publication of non-moderated topics and delete topics with spam.

You can't  "simply" do that because that requires judgment. Who decides what is spam and what is not? Sometimes it is very obvious, but sometimes not. It can be quite subjective and that makes it difficult to draw a line.

The main purpose of this file system is to provide an opportunity to upload, store and view security audit reports, independently from any third-party services.Callisto File system can be scaled depending on demand.

Hello, will the project be able to get a listing on a large exchange? For example, there is a huge volume of trades on Binance, many traders and good instruments for trading.

Do you know how many such exchanges charge a fee in bitcoins for listing? I do not think that the developers of this project now have enough money for this.

How much will we pay for file storage in the decentralized Callisto Network? What size can the file be?

Storage aside from a completely refundable deposit. Users must hold tokens while they need storage and bandwidth and may sell tokens when storage and bandwidth is no longer required.

Repeat the mother of learning?

I think that the game of questions - the answers will help Newbie stop writing different nonsense. The head hurts after reading what they write Smiley

This is undoubtedly so. Ask something from the technical part.

This topic is already clear. It is necessary to discuss something else.

How will the Callisto file system be implemented? We have not discussed this part of the white paper yet.

I agree with you. Theme is good. It is necessary to clarify this part.

How and who will store information in Callisto Network? This question, in my opinion, should be considered first.

EOS.IO file system relies on EOS block producers which should maintain the storage. Since there are no block producers in Callisto, it was decided to allocate part of the Treasury budget for the payment to IPFS-host-nodes which will maintain storage at Callisto.

Thanks for the answer. Now it's time for me. I'll say goodbye to you until tomorrow. All the best to you!
