Who will determine storage conditions? Who will choose IPFS-host-nodes?

IPFS-host-nodes will be elected and paid through Treasury proposals. The number of IPFS-host-nodes, amount of payment and minimum
amount of storage will be determined by voting of Cold Stakers.

Thanks for the answer. This is understandable, but on what will the Callisto file system be based?

Callisto file system relies on CallistoFS.sol core smart-contract (source code https://github.com/Dexaran/Callisto-file-system/blob/master/CallistoFS.sol).
A user can create a link to the IPFS file name by invoking the upload() function of тxэ smart-contract and providing a refundable deposit in CLO. Then the user шoyлд upload the file to one of IPFS-host-nodes.

Who are Cold Stakers? Why do they make decisions in Callisto Network?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

How does the price depend on the file size? Suppose I keep a backup copy of the news site on the network, How much will it cost me?

You will have to make a deposit, but it will return to you if you no longer need to store the file. I still do not know how to calculate the size of the deposit.

Good afternoon, one of the unique features - Callisto is Cold Staking. What is the difference between Cold Staking and Masternodes?

Cold Stakers are CLO holders in Callisto is Cold Staking. Apparently, in order to stimulate the use of this function by CLO holders, the Callisto Network team gives them the right to vote.

Though running a master node certainly has its advantages (both to the network and the person hosting it), its barriers to entry put it beyond the reach of the average crypto enthusiast.

Consider for example, Dash. You would need to deposit $278,000 worth of Dash (prices at the time of this writing) in order to run a master node on Dash’s network.
Then, you would have to configure a server or a VPS to host the wallet on that master node and leave your stake on their network for a set period of time, typically one year.

The goal of Callisto is to research and develop a reference implementation of a fully autonomous, self-managed, self-financed block-ecosystem and development environment. Callisto aims to create a secure environment for further development and improvement of the protocol,
democratic and friendly for users and their contribution to the development of the platform. To achieve this goal, Callisto will rely on an embedded system of smart contracts.

It's very simple)))

Callisto Network is a blockchain platform with its own cryptocurrency (CLO) that is based on Ethereum protocol, so any Callisto improvements can be applied to Ethereum Classic.

Callisto is NOT a testnet or a hardfork of Ethereum Classic. Callisto Network is developed by Ethereum Commonwealth, one of three ETC development teams.

I'm sorry, bro, I do not understand this myself. I am confident that the cost will be acceptable. Otherwise, it makes no sense to create all this.

Too many thing that need to be observe specially on that topic. But I think the team Callisto is ready for that in the future good. This will happen at the right time by experiencing their service in the near future.

I'm sorry, bro, I do not understand this myself. I am confident that the cost will be acceptable. Otherwise, it makes no sense to create all this.

There should be a mechanism for changing the cost of storage. Most likely by voting Cold Stakers.

The amount of storage available per CLO is determined using the Bancor
algorithm that maintains a Constant Reserve Ratio (CRR) of 10. A CRR means that the storage will never be completely consumed, as the price (locked CLO per megabyte) will rise as free capacity shrinks.

Price = Balance / (Supply * CRR)

Where:

● Balance is the total amount of storage consumed
● Supply is the total amount of storage the host-nodes physically have
● CCR is the constant (10 in EOS and CLO)

Is CRR = ● CCR is the constant (10 in EOS and CLO), is that typo or what, this formula is not so clear specially if you are a newbie when in comes of crypto marketing. This is the first time I encounter this Price theory.

It's clear. This is a price adjustment algorithm. I think that the initial cost should be set?
