We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

such organizations already exist! Of course, these are not big banks, but they are sufficiently secured companies! these companies offer deposits in bitcoin, and with them you get interest every month! Of course, one thing is bad - most of these companies are a scam and a pyramid! so you need to be careful! and so I'm sure that in a few years there will be the first banks for receiving bitcoin on your dipozit!

Yes maybe, there is a huge chance for banks to create their own way to hold bitcoins and make their own exchanger company like you can convert cryptocurrency to fiat and that is the only way for them to survive.

I dont think that will be possible since bitcoin is not fiat, btc is a digital currency and wil remain so for many years...

Indeed, banks will only be deposited fiat type of money but don't get me wrong some bank also accepts fiat deposit which came from bitcoin funds. It was already converted and exchanged from local trading site of the country that has been affiliated with banks online, but not to the extend that bitcoin currency can be a saving funds.

I don't really think there is something that is impossible, it will only take long time but it will happen one day and every body will be shark.

If one day the use of bitcoin keeps increasing and daily transaction volume reaches hundreds of billions then it is probable that banks immediately open deposit for bitcoin.

There are actually banks right now who accepts bitcoin deposits, especially in the US and Canada but there are only limited banks who accept. Most banks are afraid of bitcoin and never get attached to it due to the volatility of the market price and because it is hard for to hold it. If banks actually are smart enough as you said they can earn from it and get some profit but it really depends on the business. I heard that RBC was accepting deposits but then they actually remove it due to reasons. So there are things that make them not do it but for sure sooner or later it will happen.

I think that it is possible in several years, not now because it is difficult to change the standard traditional system. People need to adjust to this idea. Some are against crypto but they are few.

Bitcoin is growing very fast. And its the biggest fear for banks. Banks have to feel this change and should also accept this change and start giving facility regarding bitcoin.

In my opinion it would just be a matter of time until they accept bitcoin deposit and withdrawals.  There is a huge chance for banks to create their own way to hold bitcoins and make their own exchange company like you can convert cryptocurrency to fiat and that is the only way for them to survive this fast changing high technology financial chaos.   Surely,  in the future,  many banks will try to offer to deposit bitcoin, because basically bitcoin investment is almost the same as stocks or mutual funds.  Banks will definitely do something like make a bitcoin deposit as long as they think it's profitable. They will just have to study deeply the Blockchain Technology.

Not to mention banks offer such features, for the possibility of adopting bitcoin alone is very small. Banks are companies regulated by the state and they are required to earn a profit in each year. That is, risk mitigation is important to them rather than approaching the risk of making a bitcoin deposit feature.

This may seem imoossible now especially that banks and bitcoins are both in a different and exact opposite systems. However, if bitcoin demand continues to increase and so as the number of investors and users, then i guess banks will have no choice but to adapt to such challenge. Though it may be risky but i am pretty sure they will come to an agreement where in banks won’t be losing too much as well.

Bitcoin is illegal tender in some countries. And it is very fluctuate currency like stock market. So I think it's hard to take deposit by banks.
Bank can give other services to Bitcoin like: loans against Bitcoin, a account or locker where u can maintain Bitcoin and related documents.

cryptocurrency wants to end the banking system why banks embrace it? You really will kill yourself if you are a bank, decentralized cryptocurrency and centralized banks are at odds with each other.

Banks indeed will find ways, they will take every opportunities that they will get even they have different position regarding to this system, we knew by the fact that bitcoin evolves as people around love decentralization while banks is on its different side, but in most cases banks always adopt if they find interest and see that it can profitable from their business they will do everything to gain.

If banks will offer bitcoin deposits, well it will good because banks will not be able to close because they will play an important role for bitcoin then.

really bitcoin is not needed in the bank, BUT, all the same, we also need to somehow interact with the fiat, so the bank needs it, but it must change its mind about the attitude
