That mean there is only one allias confirmed per block?

If I remember correctly, each block size is 32 KiB maximum. The minimum transaction size is 128 byte. So one block can only contain so many transactions. Just how many it depends on the size of the transactions. 250 max.

I remember somewhere Code from Beyond said maxium 4000 aliases can be carried in one block.

The longer your account has gone without generating a block, the higher the chance will be that you will generate one. (c) http://nxtcrypto.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#Forging
So this is not true?

No. I think Wiki confused Nxt PoS algo with other PoS algos.

So if someone sets a deadline of 500minutes for a specific alias, does that mean that alias will not be registerable in that 500 minute time period by anyone?

Incorrect

Acting like an auction of sorts?

No

What is the maximum deadline?

What do u use to run the client?
I use v. 4.0 in windows 7, with or without Nxtfiles it doesn't move from the genesis block at all.
All those public nodes on Russian forum do not work, even the https://162.243.145.83:7875/ that worked before, now gets to the login page but after 5 secnods disappears and goes to a balck page with this motto: Matrix has got you... access denied?!

Edit list of well-known peers in web.xml. Leave only 88.198.134.190, 46.19.137.116 and 192.161.175.142.

Didn't help, it stuck at the genesis block and stays there.
Perhaps we should place a bounty for an auto updating win client, like the one wesleyh made for Mac.

It's more profitable to register 1 premium alias and offer 100k fee imo.

Edit: That's interesting if anyone going to register "g00gle"...

for people who are forging i have a question. the more answers the better. how many coins are you forging with and how many blocks are you averaging per day?

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

You wouldn't need to encourage the arm-race Smiley How about we are all doing a 10NXT per alias. Everyone happy.

I'm interested too, I'll start forging tomorrow.

Maybe we should consolidate the results on the Nxt wiki?

Like the hashrate comparison guide, but for proof of stake Smiley
