So I bought some Nxt. But now when I go to localhost:7875 and unlock the wallet, instead of going to my original address, it seems like I create another one, with balance 0Nxt. How do I access my original address, to where I ordered to withdraw Nxt from DGEX?
With the pass-phrase you choose at the very beginning.

When I use that pass-phrase to unlock it, instead of going to my original address, a new one is created, with 0Nxt.

I had the same problem the other day, but the reason for this was that my client was not up to date with the blockchain. When it updated the coins magically appeared in the client. Make sure that you are up to date with the blockchain.

Thank you, but how do I know that it's updated? It's version 0.42.

Take a look at the last block that you see in your client and compare it with the one posted here frequently or check the blockexplorer: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=10 although blockexplorer is often not synced as for now for example.
My last block is:

Wouldn't it be a perfect test NOT to use downloaded *.nxt files?
Or is it just too risky at the moment?

Not risky but inconvenient. Next time we should just upgrade one by one.

I fixed this by adding my IP to allowedBotHosts which wasn't necessary in 0.4.2.

It keeps creating new addresses when I put my pass-phrase.

The last block I see is 23254. I hope that's the problem. What do I need to do to update it? Just leave the browser open?

Good morning everyone!!! Just spent the last hour catching up what I missed while I was asleep. I setup 5 hallmarked nodes this morning, each with 100NXT.

Four of them are on 0.4.2 and one on the new 0.4.4. Made sure the blockchain is up to date on each one and everything is looking good so far.

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

It should be updating immediately - if it's not try to start your client in new folder or after deleting *.nxt files. It should download new blockchain data.

Hey CfB... when it comes to peers in the .xml... is the average NXT client user fine the way you provide it or do we need to be changing that dynamically?

thnx   Smiley

Average NXT users connect to localhost, I put "127.0.0.1; localhost; 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1;" into allowedUserHosts.
