For example if you own the alias Amazon, you can create a payment system so that if users who want to shop at Amazon and pay in Nxt could go to your nxt:amazon and do that. Similarly for ebay, target etc. I'm not sure that Amazon and Ebay will survive the rise of Nxt... Hey that is for near term future. At some point they would accept Nxt natively and forced to buy their aliases from you. Very long term ? I don't know whether they can still survive if they adapt. |

The best thing about NXT is not just the tech, but how amazing it's been experiencing the community self-organizing around it. The social side is just as disruptive as the tech.
We are NXT.
A lion share goes to Beyond. He's been here all the time helping all. But there were many guys like him - i noticed at LEAST 10 doing the same (sorry for not listing your names but you know who you are). Thanks for the great work. And also all the other behind the scenes! |

CfB, a new topic for your consideration. Is there a way to mod the next version of the NXT client/server software (0.4.8?) to identify whether on not it is running on a Raspberry Pi and perhaps even put out some sort of visual designator in the peer field of the client so you can tell how many Raspberry Pis are running in the wild? Such info could be of great and growing interest in the future, perhaps even convincing the bad guys to give up DDoS when they see for themselves that NXT can deploy more nodes for $40 each than they can to attack. Check this article and think about it. If NXT is running on an ARMv6, it's running on a Pi. Despite its innovation (which is yet to be seen/proven) if the coins remain undistributed and at a 500-600,000% price premium to original $4,000 invested, then we will see lots of panic. Can't wait for that. Getting the popcorn ready.

My mate told me not to invest in NXT because it's going up way too quick and it will go down a bit again. What do you think?
Also it sucks that BTC went up so the investment will be even more expensive.
