I don't fully agree with the NEX argument. NEX had a lot of negative response because how it was operated by Frictionless. NEX also fails to compete with NXT because it doesn't have the know-how-how (doge pun intended) and it doesn't have the NXT network effect and the minds behind it. But you can operate BullDoge differently. You can see this also in how people view NEM - differently than NEX.
I can already see the Bulldog memes coming :p

Maybe someone should create BullDoge on top of NXT The stronger Doge. As a parody and as a show of force of NXT. Actually, please do - to garner some attention from the Doge crowd. Ha! +1

Why should anyone in Doge move over to Nxt?
I've got no doge in this fight (ha!) Why? Because Doge has nothing but meme + enthusiasm. Doge is great because it's accessible, fun, and isn't a community filled with metaphorical puckered assholes. It's something anyone can get into without spending $5000 at butterfly labs. I can see both sides to this, the pros and cons. Nxt does need some form of micro payments. marketing: And I'm not really into promoting Nxt until it's ready. I'm tired of saying Nxt's client is a clusterfuck. I'm tired of apologizing for it. When I can show my luddite fiancé how to buy something (preferably her morning coffee) on her iPhone using Nxt, I'm in. The dysfunctional disconnect between this thread and the other fora doesn't help. I've tried. also, maybe I'm naive: marketing requires a market.

That's why I said the wink is important. NEX was an attack. NEM isn't. For a moment it looked like we were going to put up a middle finger with Bulldoge. That is asking for trouble. If done in good fun, no problem, but if you anger the Doge crowd, you have a huge problem, like it or not. I'm not willing to deal with that at the moment. Can you imagine a swarm of angry Doge people in this thread? They are good at swarming.

But yes, if you make it just a full-force parody, not an insult... Btw, i don't think there is someone as "unique" as Frictionless here is, so the approach would be different.

Hey, I'm not here to tell anyone what to do. Go ahead if you want to. Just pointing out that if done wrong, it can backfire.

+ 1440 to the wisdom here. Talking down to doge folks and telling them they're wasting their admirable but futile enthusiasm can be condescending. Their energy and our tech is unmatched; it can be complementary. I can also see it pissing off purists on both sides, although the vocal ones may be in an extreme minority. It's interesting. It can work if done right, it can blow up in our faces. Peanut butter + Jelly... why not? You've got the best of human + crypto elements.

Team,
1. When do we implement new fees? 2. When do we implement cents in NXT Client?
I see that AE math is already using cents, but not NXT Client.. Unfortunately.

No, bulldoge should not be like either nem or nex, it should be like Laks (the Lakshma?).
