Guys, i want to promote NXT on reddit now that the tipbot works and want to start a giveaway that i crosspromote on other subreddits. Would there be some communityfunds available for that?
We should take a big effort to explain why P-O-S is different from P-O-W coin and the term pre-mine does not apply. Also take an effort to stress on how P-O-W coin have been dominated by mining industry which is a big extra burden for a self-sufficient blockchain. Yes, we will start also a seperate info campain. When i start this giveaway i will need a list of clients and links where one can get started with NXT. Reddit is currently a Doge dominated place, but i think we can penetrate that market with our superior features! |

CfB: When I issue the startForging call, I get {"deadline":0} as a response. What does this deadline represent? Most of the time it says "0" but occasionally I get other numbers (e.g. -67900).
And on a side note: I can't help but notice that the only exchange NOBODY is complaining about right now seems to be DGEX.

Click-though rate is very decent at more than 1500 unique clicks. It probably does not work that well for NXT since NEM is still in registration phase and everyone is curious. Here's the thing about crypto-subreddit spaces; everyone protects their spaces like crazy. You could not book an advertising spaces in Peercoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin subreddit up to 1 month forward, however Doge spaces are relatively open so that I did find some slots while NEM registration is still open. I have one day in Bitcoin subreddit later this month as well. That's something if you manage Reddit you should keep in mind. When the readers there grow, have NXT related businesses advertise in the sub-reddit far into future. |

The homepages we currently have are not so userfreiendly and contain too much information for Avarage Joe. NXTclient.org  I don´t think it´s a problem if we have the same landing page (or different landingpages) on several domains. The most important thing is to allow newcomers to get on the boat easier. Especially if we are able to get clickthrough statistics, download statistics and even new acct creation statistics from the landing page. Then using standard optimizing techniques, we can probably double the conversion rate, eg. new NXTers from each visitor |

Does it mean that in order to see when the account will forge the next block we need to call startForging over and over again? Do we need to call startForging every few seconds lets say in order to have real time forging deadline estimate? |

It's updated each time u invoke startForging or a new block forged, I suppose. The code is written by Jean-Luc, I might be wrong. U can't determine if a client is forging, server does it. |
