Now with the NXT Newsletter up and running, are anyone willing to participate in optimizing nxter.org, that hosts it?
First off, I need a person with wp-skills to set up the Grand Magazine-theme.
It's "pretty simple" but I simply don't have the time right now. We're talking the overall looks/ functionality: Parted into categories. Short news should not blend with articles, etc.
http://www.time.com/time/ inspiration, but nicer to look at. I have a graphic designer on logo+ overall looks, right now.
Taking Nxt a step further:
You should log in using nxtAuth. I want to make nxter.org a site for nxters.
Meaning: Everybody can read, but you need a nxt-acc to comment, etc. Nxter.org hosts a magazine, but it might open up to user generated content in the future. BuddyPress is obvious, but I'd like an integration of
http://buddycloud.com functionality, possibly on top of Nxt. Is this possible? Buddycloud is open source under the license: Free to do whatever you want with it. But should it be built from scratch to fit Nxt?
This would not only integrate encrypted and private/open decentralized facebook-like connections between users, but also filesharing. Going fast forward, also channels with .torrent-streams should be possible to add, website-like profiles, opening endless possibilities.
Right now - anyone just willing to look at the wp-part?
I might try to dip into a funding pool here, if the community shares my belief, that a site and service like this could become not only a "nice thing to have", but a strong conversion tool (Alice and Bob wants sharing, socializing and such much culture without prying eyes and 3rd party owning them
). If everything is done with Nxt - it should become a promotional tool as well, and a statement, a demonstration of the power of Nxt.
Comments, advise, and voluntary contributions are most welcome! What's your thoughts?
