Yup.
Also checked FW settings, Globe-qt is whitelisted.

Other qt-wallets such as litecoin and bitcoin update properly.

Very, very weird. Do you have another computer you can try downloading the QT on ? It might just be with your pc.

Oh, that not look good. Have you updated to the new wallet?

Yeah, this is the latest wallet. The problem was resolved after closing/reopening the wallet, but it is really annoying if you have been asleep and doing other things, you come back to find out the mining has been useless for many hours.

Agreed i can see how this can get annoying. Unfortunately, with issues such as this its really hard to pin-point the problem. Its not like the qt is saying "ERROR WITH XXX" . Did you try pool mining ?

Yeah, this is the latest wallet. The problem was resolved after closing/reopening the wallet, but it is really annoying if you have been asleep and doing other things, you come back to find out the mining has been useless for many hours.

Agreed i can see how this can get annoying. Unfortunately, with issues such as this its really hard to pin-point the problem. Its not like the qt is saying "ERROR WITH XXX" . Did you try pool mining ?

Yeah, I can see the difficulty of troubleshooting. I will try pool mining for some time, but up till now solo was actually more profitable (so thats why I was solo mining).

Hi everyone,

I got a nice little VPS from crowncloud and started running Globe.

In the event of an emergency hard fork 173.254.204.125 will always have the latest wallet. You can also use this as a seed node and add it to your globe.conf. Hopefully this will be a relief to those not getting any connections.

6 or 7 should be enough

Those at ecoining.com stay there Wink

If some of you move over we can have pool hash spread over three pool which will further protect the coin  .
