Hi all, I am trying to solomine GRA but I get this error with cgminer

https://i.imgur.com/ln56f2H.jpg

Can anyone help me?
Do you have a grain.conf file in your User\AppData\Roaming\Grain folder? If you don't you need to make one. Also what is your commandline in cgminer? And if you got a grain.conf-file in the Grain folder what does it say?

I have a feeling that won't help. I can't get cgminer to run with my conf file either. With reaper it works just fine. But then again I have never tried to set up cgminer for solo mining before. Only use it for pool mining.

My conf file:
Code:
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=66.187.67.233
addnode=72.20.18.200
addnode=199.58.167.85
addnode=98.207.109.245

rpcpassword=x
rpcport=11055

If you wanna go the easy way (easy to set up the miner for new coins aswell and simple UI) then get GUIMiner-scrypt (must be the -scrypt version).
That's what I use nowadays.  Grin

Yes everything failed Undecided So I can make my own port for example 11054 and add to the config and use http://192.168.*.* as host?

Guiminer is basically the same just more user interface friendly but believe me it also fails if you enter wrong parameters or config is wrong or something is wrong, i did solomine before, i dont know what is going on, i tried to use the simplest cgminer settings without all those flags that I usually do but for this particular coin I simply can get it going solomining it! I just can set it up to pool mine! You think it might be something to do with the wallet?

Yea it fails for me with cgminer. With reaper and same settings it works just fine.  Huh

Got few questions.

What would happen if 10k+ wallets are open all generating PoS? Would it increase PoS difficulty so it wouldn't flood the network and would PoW even be able to generate at close to normal rates? If for example 100+ PoS tx would be generated between the PoW, how would it affect PoW block generation?

It is pretty much like mining, there's a diff for PoS (although very low), it regulates the blocks generated no faster than 30 sec per block. Of course one block can contain several generations of the pos.

If a lot PoS blocks generated, then PoW block target block time will be bigger. Otherwise it will return to its target block time (30sec).

Ok, ty for clarifying.
