1.4M, 16 hours solo, 4 blocks, is that normal?
Total number of blocks are 245 last 24hours And I am pretty sure, the network hash rate is 40~60M only,, If you have 1.4M, you should have around 3% of chance to find a block, 245 * 3% * 16 / 24 = 4.9 blocks So, your number of blocks are normal, But, surely, the number of blocks which can be found is much lower than you expected, Because of it is PoS/PoW, 12X, practical block time is 360sec not 30sec If is is just PoW coin, you can expected as 44~60 blocks, Anyway, This coin developer will adjust the ratio of PoS as 3X, And, the expected block time will be around 90~120sec, You can find 12~16 blocks with your hash rate if the network hash is not changed dramatically, Anyway, i have started the solo mining with 2.2M for verifying, And, i am expecting 9~12 blocks for 24 hours In the forkpool, they got 203 blocks in the last 24 hours, more than 4/5, but the pool hashrate not more than 35M(I checked it some times in the last 24 hours), I think solo hashrate is abusolute more than 15M, that's strange, solo mining really got less blocks. I am not sure about that, becasuse of I didn't tracked forkfool, anyway, on the coin reward report from bee7, I guess they have got 168 blocks anyway, I am mining from 19:00PM EST (USA), and, I have to check tomorrow, and I will post my solo mining report for the review, Thanks, wait for your test:) I have mined with 2.2Mh/s for 24 hours, and I have got 18 blocks, Yesterday, 245 blocks has been found over all miners, but, today, 731 blocks has been found, it means 3x blocks has been mined, Anyway, I have took 2.46% of portion, so, EFFECTIVE network hashrate is around 90Mh and, the block time rate for PoS is around 118 seconds, [or 1 PoW + 3 PoS], Forkpool share has reduced from 68.5%(168/245) to 53.8%(393/731) (the actual number is differ from this rate, because of they have a difference address also, mostly, have two addresses) (so, i believe, some big numbers are belong to pool also) At least, Forkpool has mined around 22x more than me, BUT, I have check couple of times, I can not believe their average hashrate is higher than 40M, Anyway, to check the relationship with PoS block, I have stared with the other way, I have moved all my coin to the other wallet to remove the chance of PoS block mining, and, I will mine for 24 hours again, and, let me compare on tomorrow again, Short Report Just for 20 minutes, I have got TWO orphan blocks, ONE Reject, and THREE blocks Mined

The wallet's PoS mining isn't the issue. If someone was stealing blocks, it would make sense that they would pick on the solo miners. What's PTSD? Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

How you seen the price increases on coinedup? Why on earth is this thread on the 3rd page? Not going to hype the rise, but it's really nice to see grain growing. So to speak.

I've created grain-qt builds for OS X 10.7 and OS X 10.9 (no access to 10.8 at this point). I had to change the code in a couple of places to fix compile-time errors, but these changes have been incorporated into wallets for other coins (like DOGE), so I think they should be safe for building for other systems. I also had to make an OS X icon file, which is missing from the graincoin git repository. Although beautiful, the official grain logo is pretty much unacceptable for tiny icons, so I made e from the selection below as the tiny icon. See this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361503.msg4615800#msg4615800I imagine the tiny icon to be the grain symbol (much like BTC for bitcoin). I took a poll and it seemed like e is a clear winner (I was the tie-breaker). So, what is the best way to - Make the executables available?
- Lobby for adoption of e as the official symbol (simply to get the issue of tiny icons resolved)?
Also, is the git repository taking pull requests?

Nice symbols, I like (a), (b), and (g), the rest are good too, but some are similar to "E" then to "G".
