Should CoinMarket.io add this coin?In other words, would you bring us a reasonable amount of volume? I think it would be nice to see Grain on coinmarket.io. Looks like a promising new exchange and I think Grain is a promising coin so it would really be fit to have it there. a. would be my choice. Number 1

Only ~1105 blocks till the switch block... Version 1.4 is Released. Version 1.4 is a mandatory upgrade, so please upgrade as soon as possible to avoid a fork. Version 1.4 changes the 12X maximum PoW block time to 3X, this will decrease the PoW mining difficulty and make PoW mining more efficient, while preserving the PoS features. The switchover point is set at block 130000, which will be in about 5-7 days (we are at block 111815 now). Version 1.4 also has the latest checkpoints. Download links and source in github are updated.
We will continue to subsidize 5000 GRAs for each PoW block mined, until the switch block (Block 130000).

Thanks

Hi,
I have a question on the way Grain is priced and how difficulty is displayed. On Coined Up for example the price is listed as 0.00000048, but on Coin Market Cap the price is listed as 0.00048. Which of theses two prices are correct and why is there such a difference between the two? As far as difficulty goes why does my pool show difficulty as 10, but cgminer on my computer shows the same pool as 5 for difficulty?

why is my wallet removing coins from my balance and putting them under stake? You found a PoS block, wait 50 blocks until it matures and you regain your coins + the PoS reward.

i'm not mining grain at the moment? ?? If you are mining, then you are mining. The PoS part is "extra" and you get it as long as you have enough coindays on the coins. They are generated (mined) by the wallet and won't interfere with your normal mining.

i'm not mining grain at the moment? ?? PoS minting uses Proof of Stake instead of Proof of Work. The Grain wallet tries always to find a PoS block by itself, no miner is needed and it costs vere less computation power.

Haven't tried solo for a few days, so I'll run with it overnight and see how it goes. I miss the thrill of finding a superblock.

Great news! Coinpayments.net added support for Grain! This will make the shops/services accepting Grain a lot easy, since Coinpayments.net provides a lot tools and utilities for creating the payment system. I will write a tutorial on how a shop can integrate with Coinpayments system.
