1 DOGE is the smallest unit, right?
There are no half-DOGEs like 0,5 D, right?
Sure there are - just like other currency. But as long as the value of a full Doge is a few Satoshis then why bother? But if you are mining, the pool might pay you 5.123456 Doge for a certain round. Also the Block reward for finding a block is rewarded with a whole and fraction amount of Doge. Last night, I found block 86280 which was rewarded with approx 503,076.22 Doge to the pool. |

check http://p2pool.jir.dk/dogecoin/ and pick one with a low ping, that's all that counts because all nodes are connected... So you connection string should be something like stratum+tcp://109.72.81.58:22550 -u D7fGSoBg1EaTyJvb5iuwmrPCuPF7shFwRT+0.00232 -p x the ipadres you'll get from that list, the +0.00232 you can leave out if you want, that's a custom trick to get less rejects, my example is for a 2MH/s system and password can be anything you want The D7fGSoBg1EaTyJvb5iuwmrPCuPF7shFwRT is your wallet adres point taken The pool has NO problems at all with your 5 MH/s, our pool was under attack 2 day long. How would I know a share is invalid or not and make cgminer tell me? cgminer might know, but ultimately, it gets it from the mining site. My miner shows zero hw faults, or other faults. It is mining as fast as the cards will allow. Also, one moment your site has tons of "new block found" (about 1 for every 4 "accepted"...sometimes less, like 1 or 2 accepted), and the next it mines without any new blocks found, for pages of "accepted". all with a few seconds of each other, not minutes or hours, or days. This is not acceptable. one of my miners went to nothing but this "worker temporarily banned" bullshit. Other sites I mine have very few rejects (if any), and WAY fewer "new blocks found", such as coinotron. I have found, when other sites show more new blocks found and rejects, coinotron keeps ticking along without any. Every time I go to another site to mine some new coin, I have these problems. I go back to coinotron, and don't have any, or very very few. I won't be mining on your site again, any time soon. "temporarily banned" is pure bullshit. I have yet to have ANY OTHER SITE give me back that bullshit. There are alot of shitbag pool operators so once you find the rare pool that is somewhat honest and reliable stay there. |

Wohooo! I am a block finder! I feel like I really contributed to Dogecoin - by finding a block & getting 503k Doge reward (for the pool) As you can see in the block statistics, I received only 21.47451271 Doge due to my worker not submitting the average number of shares in this round, but that is the beauty of a good pool: every contribution is rewarded accordingly. Im testing p2pool too, i have optimized my setting so i have only 4% rejected share (the average on p2pool is near 23%). I should get with 7400kh something about 50 000/day. Dogehouse gave me about 50k/day, i'm mining since 22h yesterday on p2pool and it's 13h so it has been 15 hours that i'm mining and i have only get 20 000 doge...
I don't understand why people says that it give better rewards, it's not true. Maybe i have to wait 24h to see how it goes but im a little bit worried about p2pool
Is p2pool a scam??? It's 18h30 , so it's going to be 19hours and 30 minutes that i'm mining and i have only got 21 000 dogecoin... instead of 50K/24h i have never had good luck at all. Most of the time the people saying they are great are the ones running the node because they make out good when you don't. I don't remember where but I read about it somewhere, I can't remember if it's the stales or something leftover or what but I remember reading that the person running the node benefits on your terrible earnings. a little google fu and you could probably find it since I'm sure someone on here will demand proof which I really don't care enough to go find. I would just go find a regular pool and quit wasting your time/khs. I did and I'm not fucking with that bullshit again. |

People are dumping Doge and buying Moon. The reward halving was already factored into this price and I doubt Doge will be mentioned in the winter olympics.
Couple that with no limit on mineable coins and it's only going down from here, put the Moon and Doge charts side by side, it's pretty clear what is going on and what will happen.

Ok, I have to step in to stop this charade: First of all I can't believe you are even listening to the guys that come here and "just want to educate, warn, advise, preach" or whatever for the sake of your wallet's. This is pure manipulation for whatever reasons they might have to spam/bomb DOGE thread! It would have been if you bought at 1 or 2 satoshi so maybe now it still is and only because some whale traders have bought them at 1 satoshi so they are pumping it now so to have a huge profit BUT for them to have profit some will have to lose money. Think about it, at this point you are gambling. MOON is being pumped. It is not a long term investment. There are many people who have invested in those earlier coins that will do anything to put down DOGE. I don't want create any polemic but not even the DEV team is safe from bribes to release news that can bring DOGE down and I am not saying they are but money can buy almost anything! Buy while it's low and stop selling your coins for pennies. Doge price is what you decide.
It is easier for them to manipulate the coin if DOGE is cheap.

It's not a battle nimwit, it's a coin somebody copied, released and got some good wealthy backers that wanted to make money from manipulating it. Brilliantly played, but there is a big difference between hating a coin and coming to the logical conclusion that it's a coin that was started as a joke and will end as a joke. Somewhere in between is where I make money by mining and selling to people such as yourself immediately, at or near market. It's okay to have an opinion on the coin, it's no better or worse than mine, but when you make it into a battle you look mentally challenged. And try and use some logic when responding to my message, I am profiting off of the coin in great amounts, I want to see it live a long time at these levels, but I'm realistic to know that it won't.
