So if lottocoin gets on cryptsy, the price will rise, but will it only rise on cryptsy or will it rise simultaneously on coinedup as well?

There may be some slight differences but they generally stay in the same ballpark as far as price goes.

Speculative price Target based on demand and supply is about 200 satoshis after launch on cryptsy.
I personally think it will be around 300 with the early pump With as many people as I see on here hoping for a high price with the goal of dumping it, I think about 1/10 of you will be able to get in on one of these high valuations before it drops down to a doge level of .00000070 or so. Way too many people sitting on the sidelines with millions for any high buy orders to hold up. Good luck though. All I see here is people hoping for a high price which is totally normal. I don't see anyone here talking about dumping all their coins on the first good price like you suggest. I think most regulars here believe that lottocoin has a long term future and not just a one time pump and dump coin. Why else would we be working so hard to build all these new sites with games to play if there were no future plans for lottocoin. Why sell millions of coins at .00000200 when they could be worth 100x that in the future. The only reason anyone cares what the price is if they want to exchange it for fiat or other coins valued in fiat. The only people I believe are excited about the coin are the ones that get excited when a service gets added that accepts it. There are way more people excited about it getting on cryptsy than being used for some purpose. Why? Because cryptsy will trade it for BTC which can be traded for fiat. Is there any other reason to care about it being on cryptsy? I don't mind people wanting to make money off of it, it's just deluded thought to think it will go up to 300 satoshi and hold there. It may touch it, ever so briefly, before a whale with 10 million coins crushes it all the way down to 120. There are just too many of them in circulation. It's not as bad as the doge people were though. I haven't been in that thread in a while, but they were sure it would be worth at least $0.01 or even a dollar a doge for the really crazy in that thread. This kind of talk was going on when there were already 8 billion of them mined. Not one place accepted the coin for anything at the time, but they were all sure they were going to be millionaires... somehow.

That thread and the whole dogecoin community (albeit very supportive and enthusiastic) seem a bit delusional in that thinking. There are people arguing with me on reddit even though the price of a doge has been in a gradual decline for a bit now.

Of course getting on cryptsy will increase the value in short term but also long term. It's just one of many steps coins have to make on their way up to becoming something bigger. Like any coin, when it hits a new exchange and starts gaining popularity, there will be high demand and a bit of a feeding frenzy. The price will rise and then inevitably some people will choose to sell off their coins and the price may drop but good coins bounce back after the initial pump and decline. How is this any different than every other coin out there?

Hey guys, LOT is really exploding now with all the new games & price is going up on coinedup as a direct result. In addition we now have our own lottocoin forum http://lottocointalk.org/ so be sure to register there and say hi. LOT has a great community that is only going to thrive! If any of you have the time, please visit the official Rapidballs thread in the Gambling forum and say thanks and give it a bump https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290345.new#new

and for the 3rd time:
how about putting the irc channel #lottocoin on the forum and on the front page? Irc can really help a coin out. Even the not even released mooncoin already has way more members than lottocoin channel....

I think the worldcoin forum tried this but they eventually removed it due to issues. Not sure if there was just too many people talking at once or if it lead to no-one posting, you would need to check it out, just saying it never worked for them.

Ok, maybe they changed the chat format. It used to be they had a chatbox on their site that they ended up closing. May be different to what they got now.

I dont mean any offense, but this is a pretty daft question. Of course the price will rise on other exchanges if it rises, it rises everywhere. Just to explain the basics in case this is a serious question, of course it rises everywhere otherwise this can happen: take $100 and convert to bitcoin, send bitcoin to coinedup and buy LOT at low price. Send LOT to cryptsy and sell LOT at high price for more BTC than you originally started with. Then send BTC back to coinedup and buy LOT at low price.. rinse and repeat, instant millionaire. If you can find two exchanges where the buy price is say 10% higher on one than the sell price on another, then its easy money. Which is why it very very rarely happens.
