I'm seeing

100 watts - i7 4770 - 3.3 hpm . . . so 30 watts per hpm - there's probably a better unit to use.

Hashes per kilowatt maybe . . .

So I use 1KW in 10 hours. in 10 hours I get 3.3X60X10 hashes -

1980 hashes per KW

What is this:
Code:
[17:02:07] HTTP request failed: necessary data rewind wasn't possible
[17:02:07] submit_upstream_work json_rpc_call failed
[17:02:07] ...retry after 10 seconds

I am getting this error very frequently.

Is it to be expected as part of normal mining?  Or is it pool side issue or miner-side issue?

I am using the http://mmcpool.com/ windows x64 miner.

Mining @extasie. Thanks for the great work.
Don't know if this is the best pool for this coin, because i still have no reward (no block found), but hey, i'm patient. This coin is going to ROCK!

Hmm what are the positions available? i may or may not be qualified.

I'm far from an expert, but it would seem to me that:

1) a hardware error(exception) occured, while trying to confirm previous work.
2) the rpc call failed because the work was lost in the exception
3) the process slept for 10 seconds while waiting on work.

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

This is kind of sucking. I'm finding shares, but every single one is getting rejected.  Huh

It must be some kind of problem... what setup do you use? win32 or 64?

Win64. This is my setup: minerd.exe --url http://work.mmcpool.com:80 --user M92QAURY1e4BsoDdqx5pKeS7UJi6zUHv6H --pass x --threads 4

Your CPU might not support AES, what model is your CPU?

Phenom II x4 820 and 3x Core2 Quad Q6600's. They should, I know they don't perform great like the newer cpu's, but I'm on a budget for cpu mining.

Q6600 does not support AES-NI

I know, I posted after that post that I found out.

Code:
Proof of Work
The Proof of Work is a modified Momentum based algorithm. It has a small SHA512 component, and a large AES component - chips with AES-NI instruction sets will fare *much* better. Each hash requires 1GB of Memory to perform and encrypts 50GB of data. By contrast, the verification only requires 128K and less than one 10th of a second.

See that, it's not requirement to have AES-NI. At least AES is required, which most 64-bit cpu's do, even old ones. So, the cpu's I have will just be slow at hashing, might be better I mine PTS, buy and/or trade for MMC.

Memorycoin 2.0 currently has blockchain officer positions which are scheduled to receive 1% of all mined coins.

Currently each of the 6 positions is receiving 53.2 coins every 20 blocks.

On Average, 20 blocks are being found every ~2.5 hours right now.

Roughly, each officer is receiving +500 coins per day right now. When the average miner is lucky to find a block of 266 coins and most are likely receiving far less in a pool, this distribution of coins is completely out of line. I think what each officer has received so far is sufficient to compensate what each has contributed well beyond what is truly deserved even at the current market price of ~$.50 per coin. This equates to around $250 per day in coins not going to miners, not including the future worth of the coins or inflation.

Memorycoin 2.0, a DAC child of Protoshares/Bitshares is going against everything a DAC represents. D is for Distributed and the A is for Autonomous, and Memorycoin is lacking in both those regards. This also seems to slip out of being a decentralized crypto-currency.  This coin is being set up for an elite few to gain more coins and power than the miners who keep the system alive.

If you would like to see these coins redistributed equally and fairly then send one MMC Satoshi .00000001 to
MVTEceo3RoiqBhfqjVovtyMAVUJLoHiGTg

Send your vote and then leave your MMC address here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389386.msg4190260#msg4190260

I will evenly distribute equal amounts of MMC to everyone that votes for me.  Since the weight of the vote is proportional to the amount of MMC you have in your wallet, this may be a lost cause as the system may be too far gone and unbalanced.

If this works I will generate more addresses for the other positions so all unearned/unmined coins get distributed out.

People put an effort, time and their knowledge to help/push the coin up, make it better. They get payed for it (I am OK with it)

If anyone else is wondering, Cryptsy has officially announced that they'll steal all their users' PTS -> MMC conversion. This means if you held any PTS at Cryptsy (like I did  Undecided) bid your MMC goodbye!

Sounds to me that they just don't understand it yet.
Sad
... Bter and other platforms may don't understand it too.

MMC has premine for PTS holders but many held PTS on Cryptsy,
I think Cryptsy should give MMC back according to the PTS balance records of the meantime of Block 32000.

Can we trade mmc on Cryptsy now?or It's coming soon?@ruletheworld

Which is the same reason I ask bter for my mmc back........................................................................... ....

Are you going to teach them about this? Wink

"You just want to milk it" is better directed at the dev's. This is only a clever way around a premine, which this coin unfortunately has too under the guise of "dividends" to PTS holders. Defaulting the positions to being held by the dev is milking it.

Nobody said you had to vote for me though.

Good luck!
