I've been mining since launch with my i5 2500k using 3/4 processors at 1.2 hash/s, haven't found any coin yets!
My Memory Coin wallet is MKEZJ1jYTMTv7rn2BaotjR3mtnPKzUDkcD
If anyone wants to send a tiny decimal place to see if my wallet is actually working correctly o-o

does anybody know what amount of hashing power per minute you need to generate 1 MMC
23696 divided by your hpm is how many minutes you have to wait for a block on average right now. Please, can you explain better? calculations that are needed? Edit: diffuculty * 2^32, just like in bitcoin. Yes, everyone still has a possibility to find a block. However, it is solomining, so it's harder, but greater rewards Using this calculation, at current difficulty .00000546 (block 1457), it is 23450.52/hpm minutes ON AVERAGE to find a block. So, if you have 5 hpm, it will take, on average, 23450.52/5 = 4690.1 minutes = 78.17 hours to find a block at current difficulty. Of course, difficulty varies, so if it goes down, chances to find a block go up. Also, it seems as though a pool is right around the corner. It seems as though a standalone miner has been created for MMC ( https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1537.0), which was the limiting factor for forming a pool. I'd guess within the next few days there will be a pool created. Happy mining, may luck be with you! This is luck. Mined a 280 block on my server with 1.21 H/m! And another with 2.9H/m!

I've start mining today and i'm getting a score of about 8/9 hashes for minute. I hope that the speed index is different from the protoshares one

Received the coins... so its working correctly. Thanks very much and such.
From the difficulty post above, I guess it will take me 15~ days to find a block lol.
Looking forward to a pool.

No block for 11h with 70hpm :/ No luck for me..
70 hashes per minute? What hardware do you use? I've got about 3000 MMC for now with 3 hpm. 3000 MMC with 3 hpm how its can be possible ?? http://radikal.cc/Img/ShowUploadedImg?id=c9e5b58e543747009900b9d5da69408eI dunno. And plus 1400 MMC on server with one Xeon E5-2640. Perhaps it's supposed to be very cheap coins.

Hmm - you sure you're on the right fork? Are you seeing the same blocks as http://www.chainbrowser.com/memorycoin/

Of course you're right. I suspected that something was wrong. But was it really hard to highlight in red color the message about downloading a new wallet? I downloaded my wallet at 16 December. And if you've changed it later for some reason how could I'd known it? I suggest add info about the version 0.8. 54 at the first page. For example, in the case of changing a torrent, it's considered good manners to write about it with bold text, color highliting and dates. I'm surprised that I have to write about such natural things.

trying to run the memorycoin-qt.exe with the testnet blockchain to do some testing, but the program fails at row 3032 of main.cpp assert(hash == hashGenesisBlock); and then crashes.
The contents of debug.log are

apparently the generated genensis block doesn't have the correct hash. How can i get this running on a local testnet? Any ideas? Thanks

There is another issue in the latest Windows build. It is quite obvious so the developers probably know about it.
Start the client, wait for sync. Enable mining with 2 processes. In this mode I normally have 50% load on all 4 cores of my CPU. After about 1 minute it becomes 100% load as if it was 4 threads instead of 2. Press "Mine 2 Prosesses", wait 2 minutes - nothing happens, still 100%. Press "Mining off", wait 2 minutes - nothing happens again. Press "Mining off" again - program crash.
