ups, ok. i'dont was read this ... this list is only for BTC, Only BET is direct BTC Clone.
Sorry.

I've changed the thread name to make it more obvious.

You might like to use my table format for an alt coins mining pools thread.

Post a link here and I'll include it in the OP.

Edit: I just noticed it - you'd best move it to the alt coins board.

This post is designed as a handy short cut to help you find your favourite pool's forum thread, or shop for a new pool. The hashrate is an average based on a pool's published statistics for the week, unless that pool does not publish round history on API or html, in which case it's the hashrate when the list was updated. I'll endeavour to add more pools as I can.

Remove 50BTC they are STILL scammers and theifs

According to the Slush pool's "Knowledgebase", VarDiff is set to 20 SPM for Slush's pool.

I still say removing them would be misleading. What happens when some new miner finds them and doesn't know the background? It's better to have them listed with a warning, rather than not listed at all.

I'd probably say put them in a separate category or make the warning even more noticeable until they make good on their debts.

Good idea - I made the warning more noticeable.

My mommy told me all pool operators are scammers. The ones that can hide things better are the more successful ones. That's why you truly never see raw logs of anything. I can only imagine what goes on. Reminds me of the movie Casino. Where the guy walks into the Casino cash/money room with an empty case. He opens the case and fills it with money while everyone in there is just working like the guy isn't even in there. Closes the case, cabinet door and walks out. No one says anything or even looks at him. To me, that's a poop operator.

Well, this should be interesting - the start of the rebirth of proportional pools? Where's my old copy of bithopper ...

Hi,

We have just launched a new Bitcoin mining pool and hope that Bitcointalk members will join us  Cool

Reasons to Choose BTC Pool:

1/ We are owned by a UK Private Limited Company
2/ We offer a secure and encrypted site
3/ We work on a Pay per Last N Shares (PPLNS) system
4/ We pass on block fees to members
5/ We only charge 2% pool transaction fees with no other charges
6/ We operate on fast and secure servers

Come and take a look at http://www.btcpool.co.uk

If you are joining from this link then send us an email to admin@btcpool.co.uk and we will switch your account onto zero transaction fees for the rest of January and the whole of February!

Thanks

Just to bring some balance to the UK PLC owned pool (a public limited company operating the UK) post above.

There is a privateer running a new installation of p2pool at http://bitcoins.for.sexypenguins.com:9332

UK based. Currently the Getwork Latency-Mean is 0.378s (but not much is happening there right now)

to mine on this pool, point your miner to:

Code:
http://bitcoins.for.sexypenguins.com:9332

set the username to your bitcoin address and any password.

Expect downtime and things that go bump in the night. Its p2pool by forrestv, so even if things go belly up, no one is going to be running off with your hard earned BTC.

give-author is set to 0.1 and fee is set to 1.75

Feedback appreciated  Cheesy
