No, why would I buy at 41000 and sell at 40000? In fact that last spurt up to 4490 was me trying to light a fire again but there are just WAY too many fucking sellers, and now this big ass whale on 40000. I won't have the BTC to buy him out till Tuesday. I placed an order at 3346 with whatever I have left which isnt much.

We're never going to see anything above 0.0006 again are we?

yes we are, just not today Smiley

nope

60000 is highly likely in the future, just not today Smiley
Look at the charts for nearly every coin out there.
Almost all of them have gone through similar moments and then have a spike.

And.. the sell wall is suddenly gone.

Now I'm confused.

And now it's back at 0.00038. It almost feels like someone is actually trying to lower the price as far as possible.

I'm curious to see how low he brings it, I might just load up on him at these prices.

I'm still not sure if I should sell now and hope the price keeps dropping or play it safe and just watch it.

I wonder if it's possible that he's actually that guy we've been having trouble with; the guy that keeps fucking with the difficulty? Maybe he's trying to make the coin even MORE unprofitable to drive more miners away so that difficulty drops down to a stupidly low level.

The retarget IS only 7 blocks away.

That's actually a pretty good analysis and you could be right. There are 7 blocks left until a recalc and the hashrate is very low and could get lower.

Estimated next difficulty is less than 16. This could really hurt if I'm right. I'm still mining but as I mentioned earlier my 670 isn't going to make much of a dent.

Interestingly enough there hasn't been a strong reaction to the sell wall yet. Not really any huge purchases or sales.

I wonder how desperate this guy is to sell. I could make a huge profit in CAT if the price drops down to even the low 30's or high 20's. It's happened before, it can happen again, this time when I'm awake hopefully..

There isn't much buy support until Leo's bid at 30000.

I don't think anyone expected an 18k sell order this low.

I still think it's that ass that's been fucking up the difficulty. I mean it could just be someone that wants to get out of CAT while they can or something, but I dunno.. the timing is too perfect.

Suddenly the sell wall is gone and a 5k buy wall appears at 40000. Great, there goes 30 CAT or so. I really have to stop gambling.

Fuck it, the price will just keep dropping at this rate anyway, especially with that whale with 18k to sell. May as well just keep a buy order up in the low 30's.

That asshole had a fake wall. I put in an order at 40000 for everything I had left and he canceled right before I could buy his coins.

I don't get it, how is someone able to stop a sale like that? Just pure chance?

Man I sold at just under 37000. If I buy back in now I go from 215 CAT to a measly 198 or so.

CAT will be the death of me I swear. I think from now on I'll just assume all huge walls are fake. At least I won't lose that way.

No, cryptsy posts the orders and if you cancel in time you dont get filled.
Thats because the transfer is direct, unlike in stocks where there is a middleman such as the broker.

What pisses me off the most is that when I first saw that wall I assumed it was fake, yet I still fell for it.

Oh cool. Give me a sec.

I wonder if he'll cancel over a meager 193 CAT.

2014-01-09 03:31:56   Buy   0.00041000   167.33239357   0.06860628
2014-01-09 03:31:56   Buy   0.00040999   26.00704950   0.01066263

Someone else got just below him as I did it. I wonder if that 5k sell order is the same guy, he didn't cancel for this one. Perhaps he's willing to buy smaller amounts.. I dunno.
