I've given up caring now. I bought back in earlier today thinking it would rise again, but it didn't.

This coin is either going to be a huge success, or it isn't. I'm not selling my coins again, not until I see some numbers I like. If I don't, I'll take the damn things to my grave.

Here's Steve the Cat.

Perhaps Steve can help Catcoin to Mars.

This coin is either going to be a huge success, or it isn't.

I think it actually had that "big death" when it got forked (it just wasn't that dramatic and theatrical because of the forking) and it got reborn in a much less interesting form. Now it's kind of a simple yoyo coin like many others (take a look at GalaxyCoin for example, or even Spots if you want to exaggerate the example). It still has too much supporters to die entirely but it also lacks that "something" which could make it really interesting again.

Even though I say this, I think I will buy back my CATs if the price drops during these low diff blocks. But I know it's not a rational decision. It's just because I had so much hope in this coin in the first few days. It's only because I still remember it to be exciting. Even if it isn't really that fun anymore. I couldn't really care a little bit about this coin if I just saw it for the first time today. I only care because I remember it to be interesting.

Why so impatient? I just don't get it. I thought everyone knew that the coin has to mature over time. Did people REALLY expect to make masses of money in 24 hours  Huh

You may get an emotional thrill when you first buy something, but emotions are fickle. You buy that one thing you think will complete your happiness, but after awhile the feeling goes away and you have to go to the next thing. You just keep going from purchase to purchase looking for the one thing that will finally satisfy. But stuff can't satisfy.

Did you guys actually manage to convince every multipools to ignore CAT this time? Shocked
It is on the very TOP of the CoinWarz list and yet, the network hash rate didn't really rise that much since the last high diff block.

Come and mine with us. Grow the coin. Keep the hashrate up and it will grow. If you've bought coins, hold onto them. Let the coin mature. It's not even 1 month old. I know it's not the same massive take-up of dogecoin, but we're on track to be the outstanding 3rd wave coin.

Wave 1 (Pre March 2013) = Bitcoin
Wave 2 (March 2013 - December 2013) = Litecoin
Wave 3 (December 2013 - present) = Catcoin

Catcoin has a lot of respect in the community. Looking at this thread you might not think so.

Yeah, Hashcows is gonna back off. Middlecoin would crush this coin with 11GH, I'm pretty sure even h2odysee isn't THAT greedy, or stupid.

The bitcoin millionaires buying their Lambos didn't get rich quick. It took them 2+ years. Even get rich quick schemes take some time. Let's see where we are in February before we push the cats face into it's own poo.

Well it seems that Hashcows kept their promise, and Middlecoin really is leaving alone smaller Altcoins after all.

Yeah Middlecoin hasn't been hammering CAT. Saw CAT diffs on and off but the server coin-hops a couple times a minute.

Is coinium working properly?
I am mining there since the last diff change and I only have 0.29 unconfirmed CAT income for ~4.5Mh/s (which takes me to an elegant place on the pool TOP list) Huh

Well if I'm not mistaken they've only found 1 block or so since the diff change, maybe that's got something to do with it. I've been mining there since well before the difficulty change @ 300KH/s and I have 0.8 confirmed and 3.88 unconfirmed CAT.

It's either very bad luck or a bug. By the way. This pool now has ~47% of the network hash rate! !DONT JOIN TO COINIUM POOL RIGHT NOW! Pick something else for now!
It seems to have bad luck now anyway. Or something bad just happened already...

Coinium has A LOT of hash, please distribute to the other pools!

http://catcoins.biz/charts/

Teamcatcoin could use some loving right now. So could P2Pool or catpool.pw

Pretty sure the net hashrate is being misreported anyway. After all that pie graph doesn't show solo miners or anything (there are bound to be some large solo miners at the moment given the lower difficulty).

And no way in hell I'm leaving Coinium this time, last time I tried moving I ended up with squat. I've been sitting on Coinium for hours so that the PPLNS system doesn't fuck me over this time around. Others can move if they want.

Coinium just found another block. In fact most of the other pools have only found 1 block maximum, so I wonder who or what got most of the blocks at this current difficulty? I'm assuming some heavy hitting solo miners are scratching for CAT at the moment. It can't be Hashcows or Middlecoin.. if it were then we'd already be back up to ~100 difficulty.

Also, a reminder to vote for Catcoin here: Coin Payments Coin Vote

We've still got 18 blocks left, if a major pool was on us, this would have been over already. MINE MINE MINE!
