Let us know when Betcoin is able to make up 1% of WPN players. That would be sign of decent growth. The "look how awesome we are - you calling us out for being dishonest and unethical is making us so much $$$" argument is BS and barely worth acknowledging at this point. You must be a shill or very thick to be defending it.

question about the "market BTC->USD" conversion for WPN tournaments... If I cash in a tournament I play, do I get the price when the tournament started or when I bust/win? (seeing as late reg. is ridiculously long on many) Any information is appreciated.
Also, do the mBTC SNGs ever run? (or are most playing the fiat tourneys through WPN?)

I think it would have to be the price when you get paid. Suppose you buy in to a big tournament for $500 and end up winning $100k. WPN are going to pay betcoin in US dollars, not Bitcoin, and so betcoin are going to have to buy $100k worth of Bitcoin on an exchange. What if the price of Bitcoin had doubled since you bought in to the tournament? They're going to have to spend $200k to get you $100k worth of BTC at your buy-in price. It's not like they're going to buy the $100k worth when you buy in, just in case you win. Because if you don't, and the price of Bitcoin halves while you're playing, they've lost $50k on the deal. I don't know though - maybe they're happy to eat such losses.

I guess I didn't word my question right... Okay, I register into ($500+40) the Main Event tourney (on Dec.6) TODAY (Dec. 1) in BTC... On Dec. 5th a family emergency comes up and I can't play, so I unregister. I SHOULD be refunded the amount of BTC I originally paid correct? (regardless of what the current price is at the time I unregistered)
where in the Betcoin T&C does it explain what happens in that type of scenario (i.e. possible BTC market price fluctuations in the event you have to unregister from a fiat tournament)

Sunday December 6 Main Event, it would be nice to win a ticket through satellite, one time plz Pukis there are many many satty's to most of the great OSS Tournaments including the million dollar Sunday. Be sure to check the lobby frequently. Also each tournament will have a list of sattys that feed into it.

When you buyin there is an exact amount of chips that you buyin at the current market price that is logged in the database. When you unregister you are given that exact amount of chips back. This is a very good question.

I guess there are 240 shills playing at Betcoin right now then which is more than last week and certainly more than the week before. Also, I was asked to simply not respond to these posts and I agreed to so but had to point out one last thing. If you have such a problem with Betcoin, why do you play there?
Because I need to make a living. My mortgage needs to be paid and my family needs food to eat. Unfortunately, I'm in a location with very limited options as far as online poker goes and Betcoin is the only way I can access the WPN network, which provides a ton of value for my online play. As they've never fucked with my deposits or withdraws, and I know people who have made more than me who have never had a problem, I'm completely comfortable with their solvency and integrity on the financial end. I just think they do a bad job on a lot of aspects of their business, specifically support. And I'd like them to do a better job at it! It would help me directly by giving me a smoother user experience and it'll help me long term by getting their business to grow and attract more recreational players. The question I have is, why do you not have a problem with all of these things that people are pointing out that are very blatantly bad? Are you not knowledgeable to understand why these things are a problem? If so, educate yourself! Are you just a troll? If so, shame on you. Honestly, those are the only two realistic possibilities, short of you not being a real player at all.

Is it anything other than an obvious attempt to silence those of us who have have an issue with how Betcoin conducts business?
Considering the following statements Betcoin has made to me, how possible is it that he is not a shill using the same pathetic strategy?
Well, there are obviously two options. The first is that it's some sort of Betcoin-related account used to troll people who have legit issues. While that's obv a possibility, I'd guess that it's less likely as the main support account(s) seem to have no problem being unprofessional on their own and you'd imagine that a mod/admin would be able to sniff out IP matches pretty quickly. The second and, imo, more likely situation is that it's someone who just isn't very knowledgeable. They have a childlike mentality of "I like _____, therefore _______ is good, therefore anyone who doesn't like ______ is bad/wrong". Obviously in poker, having opponents with this sort of mentality is great because they never examine anything and continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. In real life, when you are trying to discuss things logically...that's where it becomes aggravating.

Do you think this will get ironed out before the start of the OSS, I'd really like to play.

The main issue arises if you buyin to a tournament in advance let's say 2 weeks into the million and then there is some fluctuation. But in this situation the buyin amount is a fixed number and that number is refunded when you unregister. We hope this makes sense and thank you for the responses.

A scam? One thing we always see is the word scam being used very freely here at Bitcointalk. We can't control if some bitcointalk members think other bitcointalk members are trolling or not. You are addressing a player on our website and Betcoin at the same time with these comments and the player certainly doesn't speak for Betcoin.
Dooglus, we have close to 1,000 players daily on Betcoin, over 100 tickets and 50-100 live chat customer support tickets daily. Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris and the WPN and have been in business over 16 years. Customer service can always be improved and will continue to be improved, but we are surprised by your use of the word scam.
With that said, we are reviewing your particular ticket in detail still and as stated would have the resolution in full by Monday at the latest. On another note, the traffic and player volume has increased to its highest point over the last 2 weeks, which we are very happy to report.
" Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris...". Could you please elaborate on this. What is your parent company's name? How do the owners overlap with BetCris? BetCris is an established and honorable brand. But " Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris..." is a vague statement that could be anything. Or nothing, as I could state I overlap with PinnacleSports. What do you mean by "overlap"? If I was in conversation with one of the principals of BetCris, would that person vouch for your company? Or does this "overlap" only mean you rent offices and internet lines from them, or something similar? Bump. " " Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris...". Throwing around an established honorable company's name as if they have a meaningful connection/business relationship with Betcoin is fine - if it's true. If it's not true, it's at best deceptive, and indicates that statements made by Betcoin are purposely misleading and not to be trusted.. So I'd appreciate it if you would clarify and answer my questions above.

why would you want to come back if you continue to post that Betcoin is dishonest? I don't. I never said I did. I've barely played since mid october after I provided evidence that I was not receiving the rakeback I was entitled to. You've ignored the issue ever since (other than Betcoin William fucking with me) Why would you want to play on a dishonest website? Well, there are reasons to play on a dishonest site. (like fast withdraws, low rake and limited alternatives) This is why I played on Betcoin as long as I did, and it's why some regulars have stuck around. Also, your spam on Betcoin, in the forums, in player chat was excessive and distracting taking away from our focus of continuing to build a better community for our great players. When you choose to ignore me, you leave me only two options. A -Give up asking and go away B- Repeat myself, maybe a little "louder" I will continue to choose the second option. Here are a couple examples of what I consider spam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=281850.msg13123978#msg13123978https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386266.msg13126816#msg13126816we know you really don't think Betcoin is dishonesty and actually enjoy the Betcoin community and playing at Betcoin, your desire to comeback and your passionate posts show that. Ummm, yeah. I do think you guys run things very dishonestly. Remember this lie? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386266.msg13028361#msg13028361Do not confuse my passion for poker with passion for your dishonest site. Anyway, as soon as you are able to answer the one question above about telling me and others I'm welcome back while I'm still banned - we can move on to another question. If the only way you will respond is one single simple thought at a time, that's fine. Edit: GoGo has an excellent question as well. I'm hoping this isn't overwhelming having two questions to answer though. Remember, they are questions...not spam.
