They can't qualify for a "B-" rating or above without being in business at least one year. My biggest problem with DirectBet is that a bet can be held up for hours without the opportunity to cancel the bet. I realize that this may not be DirectBet's fault, but that problem does exist. It doesn't exist with post up books. Until that problem is fixed there is no way that DirectBet can be recommended. The other issue is with the odds. It doesn't matter how many offerings are made if they are unplayable. I realize that the guys winning these contests are very happy with DirectBet. This isn't a slight on smaller bettors since all are the same in my eyes, but there is no reason for larger bettors to play at DirectBet. If you feel that any of these reasons are invalid, then please post why. |

My biggest problem with DirectBet is that a bet can be held up for hours without the opportunity to cancel the bet
You have to also consider that in fiat bookmaking this kind of practice is unheard of, go to any bookie out there(lads, hills, VC, etc etc) and once you place a bet you don't have the choice of cancelling it. I do agree however that in crypto world there should be an option to cancel the bet but on the other hand that would make their books really fragile(I believe DB provide the option to cancel the bet at negotiate odds, just like on Betfair). |

Did you verify that they have "big staff" before giving them a rating of A, isolated on top of all others ? If so, how did you verify that ?Poster input plays a huge role.
Your "rating guide" is disconnected from public opinion.
If you look at the ratings by users thread, you will see that BetcoinSports is rated last by the users while you just upgraded them to 3rd, simply because they paid you to advertise on your website.
Similarly, Anonibet your top rated book is rated 6 out of 9 by the users.The odds are awful. I'll post some today when I have time.

DirectBet- If you use negotiable odds and then cancel the bet, how long does it take for your refund to reach your wallet on average?
The bet will be refunded after there is 1 confirmation in the network for your initial bet transfer. Most of the times, when you cancel a negotiated bet there is already 1 confirmation so the refund is instant. If you have to wait for 1 confirmation then for Bitcoins it is usually a matter of a few minutes, for Litecoins it's about 2 minutes and for Dogecoins 1 minute. |

skipper2 DirectBet is obsessed. I made a post in his thread. He bombarded it with replies and then had his cult members reply.
I posted in another rating thread. DirectBet bombarded my post again and the cult members were right behind.
I made a post here and realized it would upset DirectBet so I deleted it. He said that I worked for a sports book. I don't want to deal with DirectBet and his little cult that hang on his every word. No one can out post DirectBet. He has no life.
