A friend of mine just tried to purchase one of their $20 trading shares for bitcoin and told me they where getting a 'Bitcoin client error'.  Guess they might be saving themselves $20 worth of bitcoin if this does end up turning out to be a hustle of some sort.

Something wierd, happened, I bought 2 shares friday after the trading day was done, but still got credited 0.29$ for my 2 shares even tho the market was closed at 3 am... I think it's a little bit fishy.. since they lose money by giving me money they didn't use to trade with.... anyone has an explaination ?

thanks

it appears to be an automated payment system. i have found that as long as i buy my shares on a trading day before payout has happened i will always get credit for it.

Bitcoin markets don't close, but BT has already indicated that they don't trade outside of office hours.

(Of course, they don't trade during office hours either, but that's not their official story yet)

Fortunately it is not fishy. Happened to me as well, so I asked support about it. The reason is rather technical - on the last day before the share expires you will not get earnings credited.

Markets never close that is correct, but there must be a time when daily profits are posted. I think that is what puma1888 meant.

If they don't trade or trade doesn't bother me. It also doesn't bother me that you are operating a money laundering scheme  Roll Eyes

So you don't care what they are doing, as long as you get paid?

He s just pointing out how hypocritical people can be. He trashes Bitcoin trader while at the same time promoting Bitmixer.io which is the best way for criminals to launder their money. Nice. Bravo.

BT is trading outside office hours. BT has stated they are not trading at night, because the volume is to low at night time. They even mentioned a time and timezone somewhere in that fb group. Unfortunately hard to find again due to the bad fb user interface.

Things are getting a little twitchy on the FB page.
Investors are not happy with the deafening silence regarding the audit report and then, apparently on the German page here, the Bitcoin Trader representative Sven Baumann replied as follows to a prospective investor:

"I do not know where the company is based nor who is running BT. BT is a HYIP and the returns should make this obvious. HYIPs and Ponzis do not have a business model and take the payments of newer members to pay out the older ones. If you are investing in a HYIP you should always consider a total loss. If the HYIP runs long enough and you make profit - good for you, but always expect the worst - this is how I deal with it."

According to Tradertom Opperman, the messenger is being shot.

"Sven Baumann will be removed from the Rep contact list asap. Thank you againArmin"

BT reps don't get paid. They mearly get increased affiliate % for each person they sign up. There is no training of any sort. Anyone can be a rep. Just fill out the form on the site and you to can be a rep. Not saying BT isn't a hyip or not but reps are definitely not paid employees.
