Is there even any hard evidence for them having actually done the audit? It seems more likely that they're just stalling, like they've done for the last 6-8 months.

Btpro: At this stage you should probably replace "gain" with "recovered".

No hard evidence. They still won't release the information of who audited. They won't share ANY information. They are now saying that it proves what they hold but not the total account balances so they won't release it. They are also saying that they are doing yet another audit, this time a "proper" one.

I'm more bothered by how they treat customers than I am the audit situation... though both are pretty bad.

Bitcoin Trader is no longer processing cash outs, People who speak out about it in the group are being banned on the spot... Me being one of them, I figure I will start leaving what interesting things I have found out about their company over my time invested with them...

I love that their PR spokesperson knows nothing about the business, Bitcoin or anything at all. How does someone handle PR when they don't even know what they're doing? This is getting ridiculous. He's unprofessional, he spouts clearly incorrect information quite often, starts arguments with people, and says things like this (in relation to whether or not the system admin has access to the wallet, considering Thomas keeps claiming that they are waiting for the system admin to fix "the problem" before funds can be sent out):

-----
Thomas Opperman: Michael understands this stuff,I am still trying to get my head around it. The site and the funds are not the same thing(if that makes any sense) the site just sends commands to the "wallet" or whatever it is called to do the payments etc....and that is part of the problem at the moment. As soon as I have further info I will inform you .
-----

This has to be the most unprofessional company I've ever seen. Plus, while all these huge issues are going on, the owner -- and the only person who supposedly actually deals with anything -- is taking the day off.

Every day things are getting worse and worse here, with their business showing more and more how unprofessional they are. It's getting depressing. Even if they end up being a complete scam, I've never seen a *scam* that was run this badly. This is just incomprehensible.

Hi Panther,

how can you be sure it is him - imagine if it's not him, BT disappears and all the investors run for that guy - I would not want to be him then ...  Cheesy

So seriously: How do you know the guy behind the Xing-Profile is him?

Best

The Fat Lady hasn't sung yet, but there's a bit of a Perfect Storm brewing, HYIP software, the audit that never was, principals' identities and the aggressive attitude towards a few malcontents/rightly worried investors.
I wonder if Mr. Carley might make an appearance to soothe things over?

I have a modest amount of money to put into Bitcoin related stuff and, compared to the ludricrous scams which make up most of the non gambling Bitcoin businesses that I have looked at, BT was highly plausible opportunity.
?1% a month?
Well, it's a new medium, it has new maths, maybe.....then I had a lie down in a dark room.
Still looking, no canvassers please.

Here's my facts.
Knowing there was an "issue" with BTC yesterday. I requested my cashout be canceled. Then I converted my BTC to PAYEER. And then I requested a PAYEER cashout. This PAYEER cashout was completed today...

Could be really problems, the last coins i deposited didn't move away like the deposits before...

My last Deposit was : https://blockchain.info/address/1LE9BKN2LTAJZgFKFfJ26JtdaUEwfmdQqv coins still in that address
Another from me: https://blockchain.info/address/1F7CPYvid36hjtBwgwkz34qojHNk5jAJLQ also not moved
https://blockchain.info/address/17RJKFrr37fpX2rpzN76RkTrWCbJfBJN7z also not moved
Deposit from 2 October: https://blockchain.info/address/1A6zZMm2SCUaMMSDJaPTUq433zszxvf7hv coins moved

So maybe really problems with their Bitcoin proccessing?

Sure we know all its high risk investment...
I split my investments to many sites and never investment more then i can afford to loose.

No one knows what they do for real, maybe they make really profit with arbitage trading, maybe its ponzi sheme.
But this case looks really more like technical problems.

I tried to move my Cash balance to the Ripple exit and the website told me the option is disabled.  It worked over the weekend, and I did get my Ripple cashout Monday morning.  Opened a help ticket.  I don't foresee that being answered..

No earnings where reported for today.. For the first time ever.  That is a pretty bad sign..  If arbitrage is what they do, and they have this supposed staff of 8 -- then they are not completing their main daily task..

I feel bad for Mr. Opperman..  I wonder if that slow sinking realization is starting to settle in yet that he is all alone?  That all of his naysayers where right all along?   Maybe not..  But that is where my imagination takes it..  Time will tell.  Tick-tock tick-tock

Not likely. If you know the history of the Afrikaner you would understand that it takes more than a PC screen to make us shiver and hide Wink

Anyway,I thought Josh would like to know : Today's Trading Pool results: 0.85% (7/10/2014)

And there was problems with the server that needs to download the blockchain again.
