We've caught 33 malicious sign ups or duplicates e.g. one gmail and one hotmail. To those who signed up with gmail and hotmail, I kept the gmail one. Technically you don't deserve them, but fair is fair. I hope you understand why this delay was neccessary. (33*45 SMC is almost 1.5k SMC) We will start sending the first 100 tonight, going down the list as necessary. i didn't get the 60 coins that was apart of the promotion... whats going on?
Still working on it. I'm running MX queries on every domain to make sure it's real. I've also found a few cheaters. I put my email on the 26 and wasn't a duplo or a cheat. Will I get the 45 coins. I didn't have a sig so i know I dont get the 15 ones for that? Yes you should. And yes, you would only be receiving 45 SMC. A list would be helpful for ppl wanting to knw if they received the SMC's or not I would think getting an email would suffice as enough evidence. If you are unsure of what email you used to sign up, join us on the IRC and we'll help you out. The most hilarious thing about this coin is, a ton of miners have got next to nothing for helping out. You claim "fair distribution" but are actually having a giveaway that is massive. Why should i mine this coin anymore exactly? This is going to hit and exchange and be dumped beyond belief  . Fair dist. my ass. I will pay attention to this when it could possibly recover months after hitting any major exchange. Why should you mine this coin? That is at your discretion, but 1.5 GH/s don't lie. Plus a ton of miners have already mined 150k SMC (40% of the premine already). |

You can join SMC.Minar.cc, it has low hashrate but really fast payouts  |
Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

xhash.net is also a great alternative to hash.so -- i highly suggest people start moving their miners to that pool!

Guys,
could you help me to decrease my rejct rate. I've got same settings for Smart and USDe. My ping to p2pool is around 50ms (taken.pl) and smart is: 14-15%, usde 7% rejects.
Here's my Cgminer config for 3x7950 (1,9 Mhash)(win 7, 4GB RAM, Sempron 145):
-Q 0 --expiry 10 --scan-time 5 -I 18 --thread-concurrency 22400,22400,22400 --gpu-threads 1 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 --gpu-engine 1100,1100,1100 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1500 --gpu-powertune 20,20,20 --gpu-fan 68,65,65 --temp-cutoff 85,85,85
Just don't know, what could be improved.
Some times the rejections may be caused from bad pool. I can advise you to try other pool for test. |

scan time : 30
rest all are similar
i am mining at smc.hash.so, my reject rate is 0.9
good luck

Ideally we'd like to start a new faucet but that is not our highest priority at the moment. Getting the initial reservation of coins is. This 30k isn't supposed to last 1 month. The 30k is actually supposed to last for a long time. |

Well I'm using same p2pool for Smartcoin and USDe, so conditions are the same. Someone told me that smart has 5s LP and USDe 10s, but I don't know what LP is and how should I adjust my CGminer settings. |

what do you mean? where did you get the 22? You can change the signature already. developer recommended to change it in order not to mislead that you can still save on a free coins. |
